Here’s Everything We Know About Naomi Scott, Adam Scott’s Wife Since 2005

Nope, Adam Scott’s wife since 2005 isn’t Princess Jasmine or the pink Power Rangers Naomi Scott. They just happen to share the same name (and the fact that they’re both celebrated women who have achieved great things in life). The Naomi Scott we’re talking about here is a TV and film producer.

If you haven’t heard about her yet, then it’s time you do.

Naomi Scott Used to be Naomi Sablan

Naomi and Adam (the actor, not the golfer – just to clarify because that comes up in Google searches, too) first met in 1998 at a bar on Sunset Boulevard. They were both from Northern California and were introduced to each other by a friend.

Speaking with Vulture, Adam said that Naomi left promptly on their first encounter. She jokingly responded, “I heard actor,” and then clarified that she came around when she saw him on stage performing.

Then, when they started dating, she asked him if he had any backup plan if acting didn’t work out. He had none. Recalling that conversation with the New York Times, she said it was a painful reaction.

However, that didn’t stop her from marrying him. In 2005, she said “I do” to him, and they’ve been a team – and a great one at that – ever since.

According to the actor, his wife was the coolest, smartest, funniest, and most beautiful person in his life. “So, I just hope that she still likes me most of the time. It’s worked out and I’m really, really lucky, but I just can’t imagine anything else. I’m just lucky.”

She Shares Two Children With Her Husband

The couple has a son, Graham, and a daughter, Frankie, who fans rarely see on social media. That’s because their parents decided to keep them out of the limelight not only so they could enjoy their childhood but also for them to remain grounded.

Another thing that they instilled in both kids was the spirit of being politically active and community-minded. They had been doing so for years and were glad to see the fruits of their labor.

She Started Her Career as a Film and TV Producer on Late-Night TV

Aside from being a wife and a mother, Naomi is also a career woman.

She first stepped into the entertainment industry in 2001 as an extra in the romcom “Kissing Jessica Stein.” After that stint, she worked as an executive producer assistant on the TV show Crank Yankers.

What really served as a foray into production for Naomi was her work in the famed late-night show Jimmy Kimmel Live during its debut run in 2003. She entered the show as an assistant and then became a segment producer.

In her interview with SAG Indie, she shared that it was fun and learned a lot from the experience. She also had the opportunity to work with great people, including their executive producer and head writer, who were both from Letterman

Following Jimmy Kimmel, she worked as a producer on the Andy Milonakis Show.

Now, she has a collection of works, and two of the most notable in it were “Other People” (2016) with Jesse Plemons and Molly Shannon (which Adam also co-produced) and “Fun Mom Dinner” (2017) with her husband and Toni Collete. Both films premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.

She and Adam Have Their Own Production Company

Gettin’ Rad Productions was born shortly after she and Adam welcomed their son and eldest child, Graham.

Naomi said the idea of starting their own production company popped into her head when she was gearing up to return to work. She realized that the hours she would be working on a show would be great, but it would also mean not seeing Adam and Graham. So one night, she and her husband hatched a plan to realize it.

They took a chance and debuted their first series, The Greatest Event in Television History, for block broadcast Adult Swim. Since then, they had 25 titles and one of which was Ghosted under FOX, starring Adam Scott himself and Craig Robinson.

The two met at actress Elizabeth Banks’ birthday party. And here is the iconic photo to prove it.

Now that you finally know Adam Scott’s wife, you will never mix her up with the actress Naomi Scott. (Though to be fair, she did have another acting stint aside from “Kissing Jessica Stein,” which was a guest role in the British comedy series Sadie J in 2011. So maybe, we can still call her an actress.)
