She’s a twin.
Cynthia Hauser, formerly called Cynthia Daniel, was born on March 17, 1976, in Gainesville, Florida, five minutes after her twin Brittany to parents Carol and Charlton B. Daniel, Jr. (who died in 2008). They have an older brother named Brad.
As twins, they do almost everything together. They signed up with Ford Agency at 11 and did modeling. They also appeared in Doublemint Gum commercials as the Doublemint Twins. And they also got into acting and were popularly known for their roles in Sweet Valley High as Elizabeth and Jessica Wakefield.
Now, they have a shared Instagram account and lifestyle blog called The Sweet Life.
She’s now a photographer.
After Sweet Valley High ended, she retired from acting and pursued professional photography. Her business, Five Arrows Photography, caters to a wide range of styles, from look-books to love and lifestyle themes. But Cole Hauser’s spouse’s forte is in family photography which includes pregnancy and baby shoots.
(Good news though to her fans, she made her return to the screen in 2022. She and her twin Brittany starred in the Disney+ remake of the 2003 film “Cheaper by the Dozen.”)
She’s a cancer advocate.
Her dad died from lung cancer in 2008, and then three years later, her twin Brittany was diagnosed with stage IV non-Hodgkins lymphoma. So, having experienced it secondhand impacted her a lot. That was why she decided to be part of the cause – raising awareness and funds for cancer patients – alongside her twin.
Aside from that, Cynthia also donated her eggs to Brittany after learning that cancer may leave her twin unable to have children. And on October 24, 2021, Brittany welcomed her daughter Hope Rose with her husband, Adam Touni.
In an interview with PEOPLE, Cynthia said it was such a simple gift. After all, they’ve shared everything together. And she knew that Brittany would do it in a split second for her.
She has been with Cole since the ’90s.
In a 2020 interview with PEOPLE for the Sexiest Man Alive issue, Cole Hauser shared that he and his wife have been together for 25 years. They were married in December 2006, and there was no information about them prior to Cynthia becoming Cole Hauser’s wife.
After tying the knot, the couple kept their privacy but celebrated moments with fans like how life is with their kids. Cole and Cynthia Hauser have three children – Ryland, Colt, and Steely Rose.
