James Murray and Melyssa Davies married each other on September 25, 2020, at the Lake House Inn in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Aside from their family and friends, the rest of the Impractical Joker stars Sal Vulcano, Brian Quinn, and Joe Gatto, who served as best man and also attended the wedding.
Sources report that a few months before their wedding, the couple was so stressed out about the preparations, just like any other couple. However, what made everything 3x harder for them was that they had to juggle their plans with the ever-evolving COVID-19 restrictions at that time.
Murray stated in an interview that they had four different weddings planned simultaneously, depending on how everything worked then. Their wedding took place in a spacious outdoor area near Lake Nockamixon. Since the wedding was held amid the height of the Covid-19 outbreak, the venue was ideal as it was out in the open air, and people weren’t confined in a centralized space.
The reception area lacked movable doors and windows so that it could get more airflow. The property included separate houses for guests and was where the bridal party and the bride and groom’s families resided.
They nevertheless required their guests to wear masks even though it was already outside since proper precautions must always be taken. Sanitizing stations were also placed all over the area to ensure everyone was always clean. The couple also planned smaller tables for guests, spacing them out more and ensuring they were at a specific distance from the band.
Also, Murray and Davies added their unique touch to the festive, joyful party by renting a bounce house since they didn’t want a particularly traditional wedding and wanted their guests to enjoy the occasion as much as they did.

They chose vintage luggage as the table centerpieces, as each one included a wooden photo album for the guests. As a modest nod to the couple’s love of games, there is a different vintage wooden board game inside each piece of luggage.
