Jennifer Aniston Celebrates 53rd Birthday In Style With Gold Pants

Actress Jennifer Aniston rocked her 53rd on Instagram with the coolest and funkiest birthday ensemble ever: signature blonde layered hair down and a black sweater with faux fur cuffs paired with flare-leg gold pants in tassels. In the video Aniston uploaded, she even did a cute little foot shake to highlight the flashy movement of her bottoms.

The post came in a day after her birthday and was captioned with so much gratefulness. First, she thanked everyone who celebrated her special day with her. She then went on to share how filled she was with gratitude for all the love that poured over her and how blessed she was to receive all of it. And finally, she ended the post with an “I love you ❤️ 👈!”

Aging Like Fine Wine

If you’re taking notes on how to look good while you age, then you can definitely learn a thing or two from Jennifer Aniston.

Aniston was born on February 11, 1969, to actor parents John Aniston and Nancy Dow in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles, California. She started her acting career in 1990 with her debut in the short-lived TV series Molloy

Four years later, she landed her most iconic and most loved role, Rachel Green of the sitcom Friends. And even after Friends, she continued to earn success in the entertainment industry with her amazing performances in comedies, romantic comedies, and even dramas.

And despite all those years in Hollywood with sleepless nights and long working hours, the Friends alum has still managed to age like fine wine.

In an interview with Vogue in 2021, the actress candidly shared her thoughts on going gray. She said she is at that phase in her life where she is more interested than ever in her health. Her late mother, Nancy, was what she called a ‘big health junkie.’

Looking back at her childhood, she didn’t get the fun snacks and only got the wheat germ and the cereal. But it was definitely one of the best decisions her mom had made for her. Aside from eating healthy, Aniston also grew up seeing her mom engage in healthy activities like yoga, which greatly influenced her.

More importantly, Aniston keeps a healthy mindset that growing old is a privilege. “We all age!” she said. The superstar has also been very vocal in shutting down people who think aging women are on a downhill path and are no longer of value to society.

In her interview with E! News, she said that growing old is part of the universal experience, and there’s no denying that, BUT we can still be vital and thriving in those years. (That’s right! Say it louder for the people at the back!)

But it’s not just all about maintaining a fit body and mind. It’s also about connecting spiritually. The Emmy winner shared that the priority of her morning routine is meditation. She does yoga and journaling and, of course, drink coffee. It’s a staple.

She would also take her time walking, feeding, and playing with her dogs – Clyde, Sophie, and Lord Chesterfield. She also does that totally digital-free: no phones, no text, no email, and no social media for a good hour or maybe more.

Lastly, the star has also learned to really appreciate the little things. She noted that she always makes the time every day – no matter how busy she is – to watch the sunset, which is her most favorite moment.

A-list Birthday Greetings

On February 11, the day before Aniston’s birthday, her ex-husband Justin Theroux gave her a birthday shoutout. Theroux and Aniston were married in 2015 but sadly divorced in 2017. Though they didn’t end up together, the ex-couple remained good friends post-split, and his tribute was definitive proof of that.

In the since-deleted three-part slow-motion clip Theroux posted on his Instagram story, the actress is seen sporting a pair of luxury sunglasses and rocking a sweater that says “I’M A COOL BLONDE” while relaxedly sitting on a white lounge chair.

She then lights up what looks like a cigarette and sways back and forth to the tune of Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” with her blonde waves tossing around. At the end of the clip, Aniston throws her body back and extends her arms up.

Theroux playfully captioned the video with a birthday greeting and an affirmation that she was indeed a cool blonde.

Aniston’s co-star on The Morning Show, who also played her sister on Friends (Jill Green)actress Reese Witherspoon, also shared a sweet birthday tribute. In the caption of her Instagram post, where they wore matching black suits, Witherspoon wrote how she always smiles whenever she thinks of Aniston and all their wonderful adventures together. She also added that having her co-star in the world makes her happy.

Aside from the posts, the comments section on her birthday thank-you post was flooded with many well-wishers. Lily Collins and Julianne Moore also dropped by to greet her and send her love.

Juliette Lewis also jumped in, saying, “Oh YEEEESSSSSS 👏👏👏👏 Those are exactly the Right birthday pants!! HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY to YOU🙌🥰🌷🌸.” However, Aniston’s fashion sense didn’t sit quite right with Whitney Cummings, who shared that this was the first time she questioned the actress’s judgment.

But to be fair to Aniston, the outfit was curated for her InStyle cover shoot last September 2021. So, there’s that.

Aniston at 53

Jennifer Aniston has fully embraced her wrinkles and gray hair, and there isn’t any hint of regret in her. Speaking with Allure, the actress said she feels the best in who she is today.

Aniston feels way better than she ever did in her 20s (which was the time when she peaked as the Rachel from Friends) or even in her 30s and mid-40s. She also remarked that we should stop saying bad things about ourselves because one day, we’d be 65 and think, “I looked fucking great at 53.”

Happy birthday Jennifer Aniston. You killed it with your gold pants and never let anyone tell you otherwise!
