Grammy-winning rapper The Game, also known as Jayceon Terrell Taylor, was admittedly “a little hurt” after reality TV star Kim Kardashian ended up with former NFL player Reggie Bush. According to him, they were an item before Bush entered the scene.

Kim Kardashian‘s dating history has long been open to the public.
From her very first husband, Damon Thomas, to Ray J, who was the man with whom she made a sex tape (that was unfortunately leaked), to a series of her short-term relationships with Nick Lackey, Nick Cannon, Reggie Bush, Miles Austin, Shengo Deane, Gabriel Aubry, and Kris Humphries, and finally down to her two most popular and chaotic commitments, Kanye West and Pete Davidson.
However, The Game was not even once mentioned in that list. Apparently, he fit right after Nick Cannon and before Reggie Bush.
So, how did everything start between them?
As his story goes (which was the very first time he ever opened up about his relationship with the SKIMS founder), he first noticed the now-famous Kardashian because of her looks.
During his appearance on Ceek Meta’s House of ACES presents The Debut Live hosted by Car Lamarre, he said, “I’m from Compton right, so we got Spanish women and we got Black women, but I never seen an Armenian woman.” He also added that Kim definitely looked cute, and (more importantly) she had an ass.
After that, he became more interested in her when he saw her at Ray J’s party. He asked Ray J who she was, and when the singer answered that it was Kim, The Game told him, “Oh, that’s Kim, man? Aw, too bad for you!'”
He then shared that it was around that time that he and Kim started dating a little bit. He would often visit her and hook up his Xbox at her place because she had good internet.
The rapper also had the chance to get close to the entire Kardashian-Jenner family. He even said he babysat Kendall and Kylie Jenner whenever Kim was sourcing fabric for her clothing line with Paris Hilton. Recalling those moments, he said he would give them as much cereal as they wanted and let them have free reign of the condo.
“They call me Gamel with an ‘L,’ Khloé [Kardashian] started that s–t,” he continued. Even though they teased him, he loved them so much.
How did things end?
Things ended quite abruptly for The Game and Kim Kardashian.
According to the rapper, he was on the elevator going down to his car to get his things out of the garage when he saw Reggie Bush, former New Orleans Saints player, coming on it. He wondered where Bush was headed and noticed that he was getting off at Kim’s floor. He swallowed a lump in his throat and was sure the athlete would “f–ck his b–tch.”
However, he did acknowledge that it was only an assumption since he never really peaked out the door to see where Bush was going. For all he knew, he could’ve gone anywhere.
Though, it didn’t seem way too impossible because Kim and Bush did end up together after that. Their long-distance relationship was documented on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, with Bush spending the football season away from LA. For a year, they had been managing the distance well.
Kim even shared with PEOPLE that she thought she finally made the right choice with Bush. She said that he was just a really sweet and normal guy. However, things didn’t play out right for them, and they decided to call it quits two years into dating. According to sources, the reason behind their split was the hectic schedule that made it difficult to see each other.
To everyone’s surprise, though, the couple reconciled just a few months later and even wanted to take their relationship to the next level. As it happened, their split helped them decide to work things out together. Unfortunately, that didn’t last long, and they ultimately split in 2010.
What happened after?
Even though The Game was damn near in love with Kim, he knew everything was over when Bush entered the scene. When it was confirmed that the two were together, the rapper confessed that he was a little hurt to hear it.
Nevertheless, there was no bad blood of any kind between him and Kim. The artist expressed how much he liked Kim and how he really cared for her. He also added that he thought she was a great mom and a great person.
He also clarified that opening up about their relationship was not intended to deteriorate her. In fact, The Game was happy with her work with prison reform.
Conclusion
The Game and Kim Kardashian may not have ended up together, but it looked like they did have a really great time together. Kim and Reggie Bush’s relationship also had a good run despite lasting for only three years.
