Nicholas James and Tika Sumpter finally tied the knot in a beautiful beach wedding in Cabo, Mexico.
The two have been reported to have been together since 2016. After over seven years of dating, they finally decided to make things official and tie the knot in 2022. The venue of their wedding was such a paradise.

Although the wedding itself was an intimate affair, with only close friends and family in attendance, the location was so beautiful, making it look so big and expensive. The couple mentioned in one interview that they just wanted to keep their wedding simple yet elegant, which somehow turned just how they wanted it to be.
During her wedding day, Sumpter stated that she and James are excited to be together and continue their journey as a couple. Now that they are about to walk down the aisles and promise to be on each other’s side no matter what, the two know that their wedding wasn’t just made for the party, but it was really for them to tie the knot in the presence of God.
For her wedding, Sumpter wore a strapless wedding dress made by designer Galia Lahav. On the other hand, her flowy veil also became the cherry on top, making her whole look so stunning. Meanwhile, James also looked dapper in his suit, custom-made by designer Franc Milton.

In a statement, Sumpter expressed that she didn’t expect that she would want a destination wedding before. But unexpectedly, the thought just came to her mind, and knowing that Mexico is such an amazing place, Sumpter decided to have a tropical-themed island-vibe wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
During the wedding, the two continually expressed their excitement to be together and continue their journey as a married couple. Sumpter specifically shared heartfelt words about her husband, describing him as her best friend and soulmate.
