The host of the Spotify exclusive dating advice podcast Call Her Daddy, Alexandra “Alex” Cooper, has had her fair share of relationships, and it’s time to meet every single boyfriend in her dating history.

Cooper has never been shy to share her sex life on the pod. However, she’s always maintained the anonymity of the men she’s with by using nicknames, including “Slim Shady.”
According to the show’s listeners, “Slim Shady” was former New York Mets baseball player Noah Syndergaard, whom she dated in 2017. A Redditor figured that it was him as Cooper had repeatedly mentioned that he was her athlete ex and that “shady” was about their on-and-off relationship.
In an interview with Bustle, Cooper revealed that she and Syndergaard started dating as a senior at Boston University. She also shared that he helped her get her previous job at Gotham magazine based in New York City, and she felt no shame in saying that.
While their relationship looked glamorous on the outside, it wasn’t as sparkly on the inside. In her conversation with her best friend Lauren McMullen in a February 2021 episode, she said they didn’t like how they felt being in a room together. “That’s some dark f**king sh**,” she said.
The two were last seen in December 2017 at a New York Knicks basketball game. Then, that same month, Syndergaard posted a tweet saying, “Baseball is my significant other,” with a photo of his status changed to single. Therefore, confirming the rumors that they broken up.
They gave their relationship a second chance but kept it under wraps. Sadly, it didn’t work out again. Syndergaard didn’t change, while Cooper did. At one point, he even lied about why they couldn’t hang out.
She just laughed, and it didn’t take long for her to realize it was his classic move. Then, she pulled the plug. They parted on not-so-great terms.
In September 2023, Sports Illustrated reported that Cooper took a swipe at her ex on her podcast episode with TikTok influencer Alix Earle. Cooper looks like she has a thing for baseball players. That is because, before Syndergaard, she allegedly dated former professional first baseman and catcher Mike Napoli, who won the 2013 World Series with the Red Sox. He is currently the Chicago Cubs’ first base coach.
Internet sleuths put the puzzle pieces together as Cooper hinted that in her sophomore year of college, she dated a Boston Red Sox who was thirteen years older than her. She’s a ’94 baby, while Napoli was born in 1981, and the timeline matched. According to the Call Her Daddy host, they hit it off at a bar after the Red Sox won the World Series.
Cooper shared on her pod that it was a “dope” moment in her life. She got to bring all of her friends and live a cool lifestyle.
Cooper also got to stay in his penthouse after her last class of the day and before she went to practice. She even had VIP access to players’ locker rooms.
Sadly, that heaven soon turned to hell. She realized she had to accept that there was always a sea of other women in the picture. She did until she could no longer hold on to it.
She described the experience as “emotionally taxing,” getting constantly walked all over and treated like sh**. She said, “He opened truly my eyes to some of the most psychotic, intense games that were possible to be played.”
Again, this remains unconfirmed, as Cooper never really dropped his name.
Door No. 3
After dating back-to-back athletes that ended badly, Cooper unexpectedly met the guy she called “Door No. 3.” He was also one. Fans suspect that he may be former New York Yankees pitcher Shane Greene.
However, unlike the others whom she felt only superficially committed to her, he jumped deep into her and got to know her vulnerable side. It definitely shocked Cooper, and it freaked her out. It was the first time she had ever met someone like him; hence, the nickname.

Word on the street was that “The Canadian,” Cooper had been texting with during the pandemic, was professional ice hockey winger James Neal.
What they had wasn’t so much as a relationship. The two were just messaging each other back and forth while in quarantine when she received a photo from him with two other guys.
The interesting and confusing part was that she was chatting with the other two men as well, and she didn’t have the slightest clue they knew each other.
She ultimately cut off communication with the Canadian. Of course, she didn’t say that it was really James Neal.
“Mystery Guy From A Prominent Family”
Cooper’s exciting dating life was definitely one of the major points that drew listeners to Call Her Daddy. This one definitely fits the bill.
In a December 2020 episode of her pod, Cooper shared some breadcrumbs about this one mystery guy from a prominent family background. According to her, she was going back and forth, thinking if she’d like to go out with him.
So, just like everyone else, she sought the expert advice of her mom. Laurie Cooper immediately got her detective mode one and researched about her daughter’s potential suitor.
She definitely loved the guy’s background – especially his family.
While again, no names were dropped, many speculated that it was the late President John F. Kennedy’s sole grandson and US Ambassador Caroline Kennedy’s child, Jack Schlossberg.
“Unnamed Actor”
During a pod conversation with reality TV star Paige Desorbo in February 2021, Cooper discovered they dated the same man – an unnamed actor from an NBC Primetime series. The name, as always, was unaired, but the host’s diehard fans dissected the episode and figured it was “The Blacklist” actor Ryan Eggold.
Here are the reasons: First, the actor had an apartment in Brooklyn, and Eggold had two, with the most recent one purchased in November 2020. Both Cooper and Desorbo visited there. Second, he follows Desorbo on Instagram. Third, he played Dr. Max Goodwin at NBC’s “New Amsterdam.”

Logan Paul
Aside from Syndergaard, the only confirmed one on her list is Logan Paul. Alex Cooper and the YouTuber/WWE signee didn’t really have a full-blown relationship. However, it certainly looked like they almost did.
