After numerous cheating threats and allegations plague their already tension-filled relationship, it looks like Big Ed and Liz, stars of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, are heading to a “We are never ever getting back together” breakup.
The couple first met on the spinoff show 90 Day: The Single Life and quickly became an item. But after a brief romance together, they decided to give each other space. According to Big Ed, he had moved way too fast, and he wasn’t the boyfriend that Liz deserved at the time. However, after Ed’s dog Teddy died, Liz reached out to him, and they ended up rekindling their relationship.

They got engaged in 2021, and since then, the show’s fans have expected the wedding bells to ring soon. But in a recent tell-all episode broadcast last January 1, 2023, Liz revealed that they have already broken up nine or ten times. And that wasn’t the only surprise revelation they had.
The Tell-All Episode
Big Ed’s online dating escapade
During their ‘exploring each other again’ phase, Liz discovered that Ed had been actively looking on an Asian dating website through a screenshot sent to her via Instagram. To verify the information, she and her mom created a fake profile to find Ed’s. They managed to uncover it, and in one instance, Liz saw that his account was listed as ‘active’ just an hour after she left his house.
Ed didn’t deny the profile but claimed it was a year and a half old. Liz quickly replied that she had receipts that Ed had been actively browsing on the site during their latest reconciliation.
But Big Ed didn’t seem like he was feeling guilty at all and simply said, “She and her mom have nothing better to do than to spy on me. And she accuses me of being with women and I’m like, ‘What are you talking about?’ I’m a socialite.” He also added that he has a flirty personality, and Liz just doesn’t like his personality.
Rekindling Romance with Rosemarie
In part 2 of the Tell-All episode aired last January 8, Big Ed’s ex-fiancée from Before the 90 Days, Rosemarie Vega, made a virtual appearance pulling out all the receipts and exposing Ed for all his lies.
Apparently, Ed reestablished a connection with Rose asking to facetime her behind Liz’s back. He also messaged her straightforwardly, saying that he wanted to go back to the Philippines and see if she was open. Ed initially denied the claims, but Rose had the screenshots to prove her claims. When he was pressed, he couldn’t give a straight answer saying he would have to look back at his history, then ultimately excused himself by saying he doesn’t remember.
Getting Back at Ed
But Big Ed wasn’t the only one who played dirty in the relationship. According to Liz, they had a big fight when Ed accused her of being a lesbian. And then she proceeded to say that she would fu** the woman who was triggering Ed’s insecurities. But she clarified during the episode that nothing intimate ever happened between them.
Will wedding bells still ring?
During the filming of the tell-all episode, Big Ed and Liz opened up about their living situation. They were still engaged but no longer living together. (And Ed claimed that the arrangement was the happiest he had been.) But after Rose exposed Ed and his lies, the couple finally broke off their engagement on-screen.
As it turned out, the most recent message that Big Ed sent Rose was two days shy of his proposal to Liz. Liz was understandably upset, and after the segment with Rose ended, she quietly said she didn’t know if she had any respect left for her fiancé. That was when Ed asked for the engagement ring back. They broke up for the 11th time.

Big Ed tried to make things work with Liz after the episode outburst, which then turned into a gaslighting session. He told Liz that he expected her to have his back, but she clearly didn’t. Liz replied that she just couldn’t do that after all the lies he told her. They continued to throw arguments back at each other, and the episode ultimately ended with the exes storming out.
