More and more Hollywood pregnant celebrities have joined the trend of documenting their baby bump while posing nude.
That said, it’s more than just creating memories for that growing phase of life. It’s also a proud statement of womanhood and a celebration of motherhood. In this generation, with their status, such display empowers body positivity and nudges society toward acceptance.
Of course, it’s also important to note, according to Dr. Silvia Wetherell in her interview with Women’s Weekly, that these need to be understood from different perspectives.
Most of the baby bump photos we see on social media portray are usually well-groomed and glowing. We don’t see the swollen feet, the stretch marks, and the million other things that change in a woman’s body. So, essentially, it’s ‘quite an edited version of the embodied experience of pregnancy.’

This is especially true with celebrities.
Some are going the extra mile with features on magazine covers or an all-out professional maternity shoot complete with different layouts they share with fans on social media. However, some still kept it simple and casual with a couple of mirror selfies.
Let’s take a look at these celebrity nude pregnant photos.
Ireland Baldwin
“bb on board ????,” the fashion model captioned her casual bathroom selfie, wearing only a towel on her hair.
The baby mama announced her pregnancy with musician boyfriend RAC (born André Allen Anjos) back in December 2022. And many were actually skeptical about it and thought she was just pulling a prank. She posted a pregnancy test photo on her stories to respond, saying that it wasn’t a dog (LOL).
Then last January 2023, the model-turned-writer finally revealed that they’d be naming their daughter Holland. She shared, “We’re naming her Holland. I’m Ireland, so another country name because we wanted to keep that consistent.” And she had always loved the name and the actress Holland Taylor.
The daughter of actors Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger has also been open about her mental health struggles throughout her pregnancy. She did emphasize that despite the challenges, she remains very excited to be Holland’s mom.
Nikki and Brie Bella
Former WWE wrestlers and twin sisters Nikki and Brie Bella celebrated their 37-week baby twinning bumps, who are due only days apart, with a special nude maternity photoshoot. The photo was intimate in black-and-white, with the sisters posed naked and back-to-back.
This was Brie’s second one with husband Daniel Bryan, while it was Nikki Bella’s first with then-fiancé (now-husband) Arten Chigvintsev.
According to Brie, they wondered, as twins, if their bodies would change the same way or differently with each other. And it felt so crazy for them how identical they had been from their cravings down to their symptoms. Nikki also shared how incredible her first-time journey was and how she learned to embrace the changes and the uncomfortable feeling of growing a life inside her.
The sisters ended up giving birth just a day apart! Nikki’s son Matteo arrived on July 31, 2020, and then Brie’s daughter Birdie Joe popped out on August 1!
Beyoncé
This list wouldn’t be complete without the queen herself, Beyoncé. Because, as far as we know, no one else can top the singer’s over-the-top 2017 pregnancy announcement, which broke the Internet.
Her maternity photoshoot entitled I Have Three Hearts included this glorious birth of a Venus-esque nude shot. Three hearts because she was having twins – a daughter named Rumi and a son named Sir Carter, who arrived in June 2017 – with her husband, rapper Jay-Z.
Accompanying the photos was a line that said, “Girl turning into woman, woman turning into mother, mother turning into venus.” Her daughter Blue Ivy also joined in some of the shots.
Arianny Celeste
UFC’s Three-Time Ring Girl of the Year Arianny Celeste announced her pregnancy with a topless photo, so posting another almost-no-clothes-on to document her journey was not strange at all for her.
So, to make it extra spicy for her third trimester, she came up with a glamorous, glittery shoot down at El Mirage Lake in the Mojave Desert in California. Additionally, behind the camera lens was her baby daddy, Taylor King.
In her caption, Celeste wrote, “We are all goddesses! I had this revelation after a few special trips last year.” She then added that, albeit cliche, she wanted to say that her mind and her body definitely got her adapted well to the amazing journey. Finally, she concluded her post by highlighting her thankfulness for the experience.
Speaking of gods and goddesses, the couple who welcomed their beautiful son in September 2020 named him after a fictional god of energy: Raiden Beckham.
Toni Garrn
German model Antonia Garrn first rose to popularity after her 2008 exclusive contract with Calvin Klein. Now she’s enjoying the mom life. Garrn married actor Alex Pettyfer in October 2020 and dropped the news that they were expecting their first baby together in March 2021 during her shoot for Vogue Germany.
According to her, the best part about being pregnant was waking up every morning and knowing she was pregnant. She shared that it was the most beautiful and happy feeling, and she would immediately touch her belly.
They finally embraced their baby girl Luca Malaika in July. And in the now-deleted first wedding anniversary photo, she shared a throwback of her bump. In the photo, Pettyfer was in the tub while she was behind him – showering naked and blurred by the glass divide. She also posted a few more bump dumps on her Instagram, including a photo of her wearing only a robe outside.
The two have unfortunately split after two years of marriage.
Ashley Graham
American plus-sized model and TV presenter Ashley Graham wasn’t shy at all to show off her baby bump last 2021. As her husband said on his Instagram, “Felt so nice, we had to do it twice. I’m proud of the amazing mother @ashleygraham is and will be – again! Love you. Love us! All of us.”
In a photo she uploaded on Instagram, she stood nude in front of the camera – with one arm covering her breasts and the other behind her head – with her bump fully displayed in all its glory. In the caption, she wrote that her husband, Justin Ervin, said her stretch marks looked like the Tree of Life.
This was her second pregnancy, and it was double the trouble. Yes, she was carrying twin boys in the photo. Their first child, Isaac Menelik Giovanni, was born in January 2020. And they welcomed their twins, whom they named Malachi and Roman almost (just a few days off!) two years later.
Kim Kardashian
Reality TV series star Kim Kardashian posing nude wasn’t really groundbreaking or even the least bit surprising. What made this one shared photo different was her growing baby bump and her caption.
Kim had been at the end of a lot of flak for how she looked while pregnant. This time, in 2015, she finally decided to speak up. First, she addressed how people seemed to think she was always faking it. She said that sometimes, she looks skinny, and there are also days that she can look big, but that was all part of the process.
She then emphasized how each body is different, and the same goes for pregnancy. She had long learned to love every change in her body during the whole journey. She just felt so blessed even to be pregnant.
Kim and her now ex-husband Kanye West finally met their second child, a son named Saint, in December 2015.
Katy Perry
“Dark Horse” singer Katy Perry took the naked baby bump display to a whole new level by proudly showing it off in her music video! In her 2020 single “Daisies,” directed by Liza Voloshin, Perry went completely stripped and naked under a waterfall while cradling her growing baby bump.
According to the singer, she wrote the song as a call to always remain true to the course that you’ve set for yourself no matter what others may think of it. As a new mom during a pandemic, it definitely took a new meaning for her.
In a later interview, she revealed that she didn’t know if she could be a mom as she had always been the logistics strategizer in the family. She really had to learn how to have that ‘maternal gene’ her sister possessed.
Katy Perry welcomed her daughter Daisy Dove with fiancé Orlando Bloom in August 2020. She was their first child together and second for Bloom, who already has a son named Flynn with his ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
Morgan Stewart
“Carrying this babe for three more weeks,” TV personality and socialite Morgan Stewart said in a black-and-white closet photo, displaying her bare body and baby bump.
She was ready to push out her seven-pound baby, a daughter they later named Row. She was also very ready with all the not-so-nice things she needed to do for herself after giving birth (which many people also don’t know about). That includes getting hosed down with a squirt bottle, delivering the placenta, potentially getting stitched up, and wearing an adult diaper.

High School Musical’s Sharpay Evans, also known as Ashley Tisdale in real life, made her nude baby bump photo entry with the popular mirror selfie just a month before her lovely girl, Jupiter Iris, arrived in March 2021.
In her caption, she encouraged her followers and fans to start loving themselves and their bodies that do a lot for them – and her – every day. “Thank your body and say I love you,” the actress noted, wrapping her message.
Tisdale, who married her music composer, Christopher French, in 2014, shared with E! News that she was surprised at how excited everybody was for her pregnancy journey. However, she made sure that while she shared many personal, vulnerable things about this phase in her life, she kept some of it secret and close.

Who would ever forget champion tennis player Serena Williams’ iconic nude baby bump cover for the August 2017 issue of Vanity Fair? Shot by the legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz, the tennis pro looked glorious with her hair cascading behind her, giving a full, uninterrupted display of her pregnant silhouette. (If you happen to feel familiar with the cover, Leibovitz also shot the same style for the same magazine in 1991 with actress Demi Moore.)
According to the profile, Williams found out she was pregnant just days before the Australian Open. Her first thoughts back then were about how she would play, especially since she planned on winning Wimbledon that year. Victoria’s Secret model Devon Windsor shared a photo of her standing naked with her glorious 33-week baby bump in the spotlight. On top of that, the ocean backdrop made it even more glorious—definitely a fitting style for a lingerie model like her.
The model then took the opportunity to discuss the most-asked question that pregnant people – just like her – get: Are you worried about your body changing?
In the photo’s caption, she said she wasn’t the least worried. She had wanted to have a baby for as long as she could remember and fully embraced all the changes that would come with it.
In another post, Windsor spoke up about how society’s pressure on women on how they should look has affected them, especially moms-to-be. In her case, many had commented how she looked ‘too small.’ She then encouraged everybody to embrace all the different types of bodies.
