Apparently, Dancing With The Stars partners One Tree Hill alum Jana Kramer and professional dancer Gleb Savchenko were more than just dance partners during their stint on season 23 in 2016. They were also lovers, according to exclusive multiple sources by Us Weekly.
And the kicker? Savchenko was married then to award-winning artist Elena Samodanova. On the other hand, Kramer had just legally separated from her former NFL player husband, Mike Caussin, due to cheating issues. In fact, Caussin was undergoing rehab for sex addiction at the time.
However, it wasn’t until a few years later that their brief rodeo would be revealed.

In 2020, Kramer and Caussin published their book The Good Fight, exploring all of their married life’s real and raw moments. In one part of the book, Kramer confessed that she had some “flings and flirts” during their split. The couple tied the knot in 2015, parted ways a year later, and then renewed their vows in 2017.
She said she knew it was wrong and didn’t want to be the bad guy. “I justified my actions in my mind just as I suppose Mike had done all along too.”
Unfortunately, just a few months shy of their sixth anniversary in 2021 (after it was alleged that Caussin cheated on Kramer again), the couple split for good. After that, Kramer went on to date fitness influencer Ian Schinelli for six months before calling it quits. And this was when all the revelation started.

According to Schinelli, Kramer admitted to him that she slept with two guys while her ex-husband was in rehab – one of those two was Savchenko. But she justified that she and Mike were legally separated then, so it wasn’t like she was cheating.
And this didn’t sound too outrageous, considering that Samodanova said it was no secret that Savchenko had affairs with his former dance partners (and who knows who else). The two split in November 2020, and Savchenko denied the cheating allegations.
Schinelli also added that Kramer tried to meet up with her former dance partner when they were dating. Savchenko was in Nashville then and was doing a show, and she asked if she could go. He responded that it was fine as long as there was nothing between them. She did not go, explaining that it was out of respect for him.

Kramer spoke with Us Weekly and firmly said that Schinelli was manipulating the story. She initially didn’t speak up about their breakup as she tried to protect his ex-wife’s privacy, whom he cheated on, as they had become friends. However, she had permitted Kramer to speak on her behalf.
The actress shared, “I have since found out from many women I was not the only one during our relationship, but I’m happily moving on with my life and I hope for him to do the same.”
DWTS’ Savchenko also shut down the rumors that he and Kramer had an affair. Speaking with ET’s Denny Directo on the red carpet of the 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards: Unscripted, he said there was a lot of acting and natural chemistry between them. They were dancing and training every day up close and personal, so it was inevitable that they’d develop a connection.
Of course, they wanted to have that because they wanted to last in the competition, but that was it, nothing less and nothing more.
In fact, Jana Kramer reached out to Gleb Savchenko after Schinelli’s statements, sharing how surprised she was that he said all those things. She even told him that if there were an All-Star season, she’d return and dance with him again.
