Giannina Elizabeth Cimetta Sandoval, now known as Nina Altuve, 31, was born in Maracay, Aragua, Venezuela, in 1992. There, she grew up with two brothers, Alfredo David and Justo Emilio. Information about her parents is still unknown as she never shared much about them.
She finished a Degree in Bioanalytics
Nina was reported to have attended the University of Carabobo in Venezuela, where she was able to finish her undergrad degree in Bioanalytics. After graduating college, she mostly dedicated her time to charitable causes.
She volunteers in different organizations that work for a cause. Working in cancer research institutions and developing children’s healthcare are amongst the many charitable projects Nina was part of.

As stated earlier, Nina has a big heart for charity work. She and her husband have already donated thousands of dollars to the community.
In 2020, together with the Astros Foundation, they donated over 60,000 meals to Kids Meals Inc. This Houston-based charity delivers free meals to preschool-aged children in the city.
In an interview, Jose stated that every time they give back to the community, they always feel this good sensation in them. It’s as if helping people makes them feel fulfilled of some sort. Jose continued, saying that he and his family will continue to help as many people as possible to inspire others to do the same.

Aside from that, Nina and Jose have also hosted the second-annual Uncork for a Cause charity wine event in 2022. The event raised over $200,000, which was donated to the Astros Foundation for distribution.
