TV personality Tyler Cameron and fashion designer Kristin Cavallari set the Internet on fire with their hot, steamy makeout snaps back in April 2022. So, the fans wanted to know one thing: Are they dating?
Here’s What Went Down
So, Cavallari enlisted Cameron for a campaign shoot for her clothing and jewelry brand, Uncommon James, set in Joshua Tree in Palm Springs. During that shoot, a photo of them making out was taken. She wore a flowy dress accessorized by a Western-inspired belt, while he wore a rumpled shirt and jeans.
They were spotted in a mid-embrace, with Cavallari seemingly standing on tiptoes to kiss Cameron.
At this point, it wasn’t clear whether it was really part of the shoot or they just happened to be very comfortable doing a PDA session.
Following that and adding fuel to the fire, Cavallari shared a photo of her legs wrapped around a “mystery man” who appears to be Cameron. What made fans grow even more curious was the comments left by Bachelor Nation’s Kaitlyn Bristowe (who was the Bachelorette in Cameron’s season) and Cavallari’s best friend Justin Anderson. Bristowe dropped an eye emoji, while Anderson wrote, “No caption ???? naughtyyyyy cav.”
Veteran publicist Jack Ketsoyan also popped in and commented, “I have the best job everrrrr.”
Here’s the kicker: Their kissing photos conveniently came out right after she announced she was ready to get into a serious relationship again after her divorce from Jay Cutler.

The two split in April 2020 after seven years and three kids, and Cavallari shared on her Instagram Stories that she spent the next two years working through all of the heavy stuff.” She dated a bit, but none of it was serious.
Amid her divorce, she was linked to both Jeff Dye, the comedian, and singer Chase Rice. Then, in the summer of 2021, she allegedly got entangled with best friends Austen Kroll and Craig Conover from Southern Charm.
But it was her last sentence that really hooked everyone. She wrote, “When you are able to finally fully close a chapter, it’s amazing what you will start to attract.”
So, of course, people were wondering whether it was a PR stunt (which was definitely effective if it was) or it was the real deal. If it was the latter, what was the real score between them? Were they just romantically hanging out, or were they in an officially exclusive status?

Tyler Cameron is famous for his stint on The Bachelorette and has had his share of romantic connections. It’s a star-studded lineup, including Paige Lorenz, Gigi Hadid, Juliette Porter, Camila Kendra, and the latest then was Kristin Cavallari.
The two first met in February 2022 on E! ‘s Daily Pop, and hosts Loni Love and Justin Sylvester were already playing matchmakers. A few months later, in April, they were a hot item on the news.
In light of that, a video clip of their appearance on the show resurfaced. Cameron revealed that his ideal type was someone “hungry and ambitious, family-oriented, and adventure.” It excited their fans because it seemed like Cavallari checked all the boxes.
Unfortunately, for anyone who was already invested in them, there was no “them.”
In an interview in the same month with Entertainment Tonight, Cavallari denied the rumors that she and Cameron were dating. She said it was part of the campaign, and he was hired to play the role of her love interest. That was it.
Of course, she took the chance to praise Cameron as an individual and actor. She shared how he was the sweetest human being on the planet and was so impressed with him.
Cameron also spoke up about the rumors with E! News. He said that they had so much fun doing the video and that it would be crazy, exciting, and fun. He continued, “Kristin is just a joy and a pleasure to be around. I love hanging out with her and getting to know her, so it was fantastic.”
And then, in her appearance on The Bellas Podcast, Cavallari confessed that Cameron was “a very good kisser.” Additionally, she admitted that she hired him to get press. So, yes, it was a PR stunt and a damn good marketing plan.
Then, in July, Uncommon James finally unveiled the much-awaited campaign video, and in it was their very steamy scene in the desert. Unlike in real life, they ended up together in the video and even tied the knot in a romantic ceremony.
Spotted Again: Are they dating?

On December 31, 2022, the two were spotted celebrating together on the eve of New Year’s 2023. In an Instagram story shared by Internet personality Jason Tartick, Cavallari and Cameron were seated side by side at the dinner table and dancing.
The clip was deleted, but not after fans had already seen it. The incident, once again, sparked rumors that something was going on between them.
However, Cameron was photographed at a friend’s wedding with a mystery woman in late January. They were seen kissing and dancing and also a bit intoxicated. It definitely surprised fans since he and Cavallari just spent New Year’s Eve together, which said a lot about their relationship.
In February, ahead of Valentine’s Day, E! News had a chat with Cameron to finally settle the question of whether he was dating Cavallari.
When asked if he was officially off the market, he responded vaguely, saying he was around. However, he wasn’t sure if he was “necessarily dating.”
Then they took the opportunity and asked him if he and Kristin Cavallari were on that stage. Tyler Cameron said that he suggested to her that they should stay in touch since they had the shared reality TV experience.
