Bravolebrities Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover had known each other for quite some time and were even friends before they finally decided to commit to a romantic relationship.
Paige joined Summer House in its third season in 2019, while Craig hit the Bravo screen with Southern Charm in its debut season in 2014. The two actually crossed paths while they starred in their own shows, as Bravo was sort of like the Marvel Universe of reality TV. Then, they got to know more about each other when they spent their winter in Vermont for Winter House.
They never seemed to have the timing right for a while because one of them was always in a relationship. However, in hindsight, they felt that it definitely worked out for the best. That is because they were able to build a really solid foundation through friendship.
Now that they’re a few years in, they’ve become stronger as a couple. In fact, the two are in a long-distance situation, and they’re acing and loving it.
2021
From Strangers to Friends
Unbeknownst to most, Paige and Craig had already met before joining the Winter House Season 1. In fact, Craig confessed that they were crushing on each other ever since he visited Summer House for fellow cast member Kyle Cooke’s birthday in 2019.
In an interview with Us Weekly months after filming the series’ debut season in February, Paige shared that she met Craig three years ago. He was single, and at the time, she was with her ex-boyfriend, Perry Rahbar, CEO of FinTech company dv01. According to the reality star, he absolutely respected that.
When they started filming Winter House, they became friends and got the opportunity to spend more time together.
However, the timing wasn’t right for them then, as Craig was dating former Love Connection star Natalie Hegnaeur. Admittedly, Paige was a little bummed when she found out because she didn’t know about them before they started filming. Of course, he was absolutely respectful to his girlfriend when he was on the show, and she was, too.
In hindsight, Paige said that it was good that he was in a relationship back then because they were able to build a platonic friendship, which became their solid foundation later on.
From Friends to Flirty Duo
After filming wrapped up for the crossover series, so did Craig’s relationship. By May 2021, he was finally on single status. Fans were heavily suspicious that something happened between him and Paige then.
That is even more so when Paige traveled to Charleston with friends, which was Southern Charm’s filming site. However, when asked whether they were an item in April, she denied it.
The following month, insiders scooped up the hottest news: Things were heating up with Paige and Craig. In the summer, the two started truly hooking up. Craig was even spotted visiting Summer House’s filming site multiple times.
Then, the moment all the fans had been waiting for finally happened.
From Flirty Duo To Couple

In September 2021, the flirty duo was confirmed to be a “couple” when they attended fellow Winter House S1 stars Amanda Batula and Kyle Cook’s wedding in New Jersey. The couple also took the opportunity to take some great shots in the photo booth. Paige said she had been waiting for the right scenery to snap an official picture of them together.
A month later, during the promotion of Winter House Season 1, where they both starred, Paige gushed about her beau.
Exclusively speaking with Us, she said that fans will have to see how everything played out by the end of their vacation. She said, “It sounds so cliché, but Craig just gets me.”
She also shared that there were many things she didn’t have to explain to him because they looked at things very similarly. They were a good natural fit, and being together was so much fun.
In November, Paige spoke with E!’s Daily Pop about how she and Craig celebrated Thanksgiving together with both of their families, with the Conovers in Delaware and DeSorbos in New York.
When asked if an engagement was in the books, she playfully responded that they had only been dating for a couple of months at the time.
“But if I can trick him into a diamond ring, I’m going to do it!”
To cap off the year, the two made their relationship Instagram official. The photo in question was them attending the wrap party of Southern Charm’s Season 8 in Charleston. Paige made a pun-ny caption, writing, “Sew in love,” which was a shout-out to her boyfriend’s company Sewing Down South.
2022
When did everything start?

2022 was a year of answers (and clarifications) for fans of the Bravo couple: When did it all really start?
Everyone knew that the couple started dating in the summer of 2021. However, the two had already been casually dating a few months after kissing in April. So, she found herself in the middle of a love triangle when Craig visited the Hamptons’ house during the filming of Summer House, while her Winter House flame Andrea Denver was there, too.
That said, she clarified with ET that Craig wasn’t the reason she stopped hanging out with Andrea. More importantly, she was no one’s girlfriend at this point. That is because, technically, she and Craig were still single since it was just casual between them.
“I was no one’s girlfriend, so I was very much in the mentality of, I don’t really owe any of these guys any explanation on my decisions because I’m not their girlfriend. So I definitely was playing the field all spring and certainly all summer,” she said.
However, things eventually became serious between her and Craig around six months in. When asked when she realized they were going in that direction, Paige said she couldn’t pinpoint a specific moment or something he said or did.
It was mainly how she felt about herself when with him – like how excited she was when receiving a text from him. Her response to his actions was undeniably incomparable to her other suitors, so she knew she was into him.
Aside from the little things, the two also had conversations on big topics like marriage and engagement at that point in their relationship to see if they aligned, and they definitely did.
In Season 6 of Summer House, fans got a sneak peek of how the Bravolebrities’ relationship actually unfolded. Sadly, Craig wasn’t a big fan of how it was portrayed on TV. In fact, he was quite upset for a while that the show made their relationship look so negative just because they didn’t have that usual boyfriend-girlfriend setup.
As the story went, Craig had just gotten out of a long-term relationship then. When he started dating Paige, they were doing their own things (and living in different cities), and that setup just really worked out for them.
However, the show cut their date, and he felt it was because it was so positive and happy. He shared, “Those were the things that I was really upset about because Paige and I, we are a good example of a non-traditional relationship ending up in a really great place.”
Nevertheless, he let it go. The important part was they were doing great as a couple. In fact, Craig’s parents approved of them, and his mom had already decided that Paige was her daughter-in-law. He also felt the same way about her parents, and in their perfect world, they would get married and have a family.
Status: Lovey Dovey
The twosome enjoyed the start of their 2022 with a night out in the Big Apple as Craig was in town visiting Paige. They watched the Broadway production of the classic Disney film “Aladdin” and snapped a cute photo outside the venue (which Craig uploaded on his Instagram Story).
In February, the couple took on some questions about their relationship and future plans when they attended Sports Illustrated’s Proudly Presents The Party. According to Craig, he and Paige were each other’s biggest fans.
He shared, “I think I’m always rooting for her; she’s always rooting for me, which honestly goes really far in a relationship. Especially with our lives comes so many challenges.”
On the other hand, Paige confessed that she had been crushing on her man for three years after noticing him on Southern Charm. But Craig didn’t wanna be “one-upped” and said he always had a crush on her.
As for future plans, the two candidly answered some questions about marriage. One thing was sure: Paige wasn’t going to have a beach wedding. However, she did say she could compromise with an ocean view. Craig was absolutely fine with that as long as the Bahamas was an option.
In April, the businessman shared with BravoTV.com that his girlfriend, Paige, would join him in Charleston for the next two months to help him renovate his home. He wanted her to give input in all of the changes that would be done basically because, at that point, they were definitely headed into the “moving in together” phase of their relationship. Needless to say, fans got excited.
Again, Craig emphasized that it was just a temporary move-in and fans shouldn’t expect any proposal just yet, especially not an on-screen one. In an episode of Behind the Velvet Rope with Davi Yontef, the Southern Charm star said that if he were to get down on his knee, Paige would most definitely be saying “No.”
They would need to be at least a year together for that to happen, and they were just eight months in then. Craig also added that they want to keep some of their milestones off the camera.
Then, in June, the two made their red carpet debut for the 2022 MTV Movie and TV Awards Unscripted at Barker Hanga in Santa Monica, California. Paige stunned in a sheer bodysuit while her boyfriend charmed in a navy blue suit.
Though the couple got so much love and support from family, friends, and fans, they had their own share of haters. Unfortunately for those haters, the two weren’t even a bit bothered. If anything, Paige shared that the mutual hate brought them even more together.
Craig’s response to that was simply telling Paige, “Whatever, I love you.” That’s why she felt lucky to be dating a man who understood what it was like to show off life on TV because they were both reality stars.
In October, Paige addressed some relationship questions during her BravoCon’s Summer House in Autumn panel.
For one, people had been asking her about her possible engagement after Carl and Lindsay got engaged. She jokingly said that she was livid with all the questions.
On a serious note, she said she wasn’t rushing to do anything. They were one year in, and she just really loved where they were in their relationship. While there wasn’t any ring yet, there was the milestone of closet space.
In an exclusive interview with Us, the reality star said she gave Craig “some room and a closet,” which was her version of getting engaged. Craig was happy with that and couldn’t believe it was happening when it did. Recalling the moment, Paige said she thought he would cry, so she told him not to make it “a thing.”
Their fellow cast members also saw how much they had grown. Ciara Miller of Winter House said the couple had adjusted well to what would make each other tick.
On the other hand, Amanda commented that Craig had also quickly realized his mistakes, which was huge. She also shared that she felt Paige would follow in her mom’s footsteps in doing holiday events, and she might eventually move to Charleston for that and, of course, for Craig.
In an exclusive interview with Bravo Insider in May 2022, Paige said that she would really be the one to move to Charleston if and when the time comes. As of that moment, she was happy with their long-distance setup. “I need to be by myself a certain amount of days and watch my shows,” Paige shared.

Still In Love

By the end of 2022, there were rumors that the couple were on the rocks. They didn’t comment about it and simply shared photos of their weekend getaway last February. The two were cozied up and looking all smitten as they attended a friend’s wedding and enjoyed a boat ride together.
In April, Craig uploaded a video of Paige referencing his upcoming movie appearance. He wrote in the caption, “We don’t post a lot together, but she’s always by my side. It was really awesome having her with me on set.” He also added that if anyone needed someone to run lines with, then she was the girl.
The next months were rocky, or so it was in Summer House, filmed back in 2022 (which might be the story behind the rumors). In one episode, Paige admitted that she felt terrified by the notion of getting engaged, then getting married, and becoming someone’s wife.
After that, Craig confessed his grievances to Paige about her ignoring how sad he was over missing his mom’s birthday. He also told her that whenever he was sad about something, her response was always to stop being a “f–ng p–sy.”
However, it looked like all of those things were left in 2022.
In June 2023, the two traveled to Italy for an idyllic Mediterranean summer vacation. It happened a year after Paige and her family visited the country. Craig said the DeSorbos wanted to do one last family trip without him.
Last August, Season 9 of Southern Charm was announced, and a preview of Paige and Craig talking about future plans and potentially making the actual move to Charleston. So, fans were definitely excited about what was next for the couple.
As of the writing of this article, Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover are in a long-distance relationship, splitting their time between NYC and South Carolina. They definitely enjoy their time apart to get everything done and be fully present in their time together. If anyone’s curious, Paige has her own bedroom with a closet and bathroom down in Charleston to enjoy her stays.
