Years after Rosario Dawson adopted her daughter, fans are confused and speculate as some reports say that the actress’s daughter’s name is Lola. So, to straighten things out, the “Dare Devil” star clarified that her daughter’s real name is Isabella, not Lola.
The confusion about the teenager’s name started after Dawson posted a photo on Instagram with the caption “Lola and mommy time.” During an interview with Parents magazine’s “We Are Family” podcast, Dawson turned down the speculations by explaining that when she adopted her daughter in 2014, she didn’t put the teenager’s name out.

That’s why when she heard of the rumors, she was so stunned since she didn’t even know where the speculations came from. Without any confirmation, everyone just kept running with it. Despite the confusion, Dawson decided not to confirm or deny the rumors since she thought everybody didn’t need to know her kid’s name.
However, when her daughter started getting frustrated with the mix-up, Dawson had to set the record straight once and for all. During an interview, Dawson clarified the situation, stating that she sometimes calls her daughter Lola as a nickname, but her legal name is Isabella.
Since this made headlines, fans of the “Iron Fist” star started to get curious to know more about Isabella. It was reported that Dawson adopted her daughter in 2014 when she was only 11 years old. They have gone closer over the years, slowly building that mother-daughter connection.
