Former Chicago Bulls player Scottie Pippen has formed his team off the basketball court with his seven children. According to the athlete, his family is his proudest achievement. And the man has won six NBA championships and two Olympic gold medals and has been listed as one of the NBA’s 50 Greatest Players.
Scottie first tied the knot in 1988 with Karen McCollum, a year after they welcomed their baby boy, but sadly, their marriage was short-lived. They were only two years in when they divorced. After that, he had a string of relationships, including Chyvette Valentine (1987-1993), Sonya Roby (1993-1994), and Yvette DeLeone (1994-1996).

He had a child with both Sonya and Yvette. He married for the second time in 1997 with Larsa Pippen. Though two decades of marriage and four kids later, the couple called it quits. As of now, Scottie is single, and there won’t probably be a new Pippen that will pop out anytime soon. However, we’re not getting ahead of ourselves.
So who are the children of Scottie Pippen, and who are their moms? Here’s everything we know about them.
Antron Pippen, 1987
Antron was the eldest kid in the Scottie Pippen family and the only child of the NBA player with his ex-wife Karen McCollum. He was born on December 29, 1987, and grew up in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
He followed his father’s footsteps and played for the South Georgia Technical College, Texas A&M International, and the now obsolete World Basketball Association (signed with the Upstate Heat team). He also played for a local team in Atlanta and worked as a machine technician.
When he started, he used to be bothered by having a court legend as a father and constantly tried to prove he could play. But as he got older, he got used to the pressure and the expectations that came with it. “I’m very proud of my father. But I can only be myself,” Antron said.

Sadly, Antron died on April 19, 2021, at the young age of 33. Scottie announced the news on Instagram, but he didn’t say the cause of death and simply mentioned that his son had chronic asthma.
Taylor Pippen, 1994
On July 20, 1994, Scottie had his firstborn daughter, Taylor, with his ex-girlfriend Sonya Roby. He didn’t exactly welcome Taylor with open arms.
Scottie even initially denied paternity, but a DNA test proved that he was indeed her father. So, he agreed to provide financial support by paying the outstanding medical bills and insurance.
Sonya retained full custody of her daughter, and Scottie didn’t try to establish any sort of relationship with his daughter outside his financial obligation.
Just like Antron, Taylor got her father’s athletic genes. Though instead of basketball, Taylor went on to play volleyball and signed with Voleibol Haris, a Spanish volleyball club, in 2016. Her team even won the National Volleyball Cup.
After high school, she attended Southern Illinois University, earning a bachelor’s degree in accounting with a minor in marketing. According to her LinkedIn, she is currently the vice president at the globally leading financial services firm, JPMorgan Chase.
Taylor had a twin sister named Tyler, but she died soon after her birth.
Sierra Pippen, 1995
Sierra, who was born on February 17, 1995, had the same fate as her sister Taylor. Her mom and Scottie’s ex-girlfriend Yvette DeLeone filed a lawsuit to prove paternity. After the court ruled in favor of Yvette, the two reportedly reached a settlement wherein Scottie would cover all of Sierra’s financial needs. Additionally, he was given visitation rights, which he used, according to Yvette’s lawyer, Richard Rinella.
She got into the University of Iowa and was reportedly arrested twice during her stay there. The first was when she got into a fight with hotel staff (the Sheraton Hotel located near campus). The second was due to public urination and intoxication at the same hotel.
Scottie Pippen’s daughter has maintained a lowkey profile on social media, but from what has been gathered from her Instagram, she was close to her half-brother Antron. She even penned a tribute for him when he died.
Scotty Pippen Jr., 2000

Scotty Pippen Jr. is the oldest of Scottie’s four kids with now estranged wife, Larsa Pippen. He was born on November 10, 2000, in Portland, Oregon, and got into court life early.
Scotty Jr. began his basketball career at Sierra Canyon High School, where he was named to the All-Area team by the Los Angeles Times. Following that, he went to Vanderbilt University to play college basketball. In 2021, he got declared for the NBA draft, and he didn’t waste any time and signed a contract with the Los Angeles Lakers just a year later.
Having a father in the NBA sets higher expectations and, therefore, a lot more pressure on Scotty Jr. But he had always had a healthy mindset and never really let those get to him. His dad is definitely very proud of him and his achievements.
Preston Pippen, 2002
Scottie Pippen welcomed his second child with Larsa on August 26, 2002. Preston, who was named after his late grandfather, also attended Sierra Canyon High School and went on to get into the basketball track in the guard position. He graduated in 2021, and since then, there has been no news on whether he will continue to pursue playing ball professionally.
While he is staying out of the limelight for now, he shares bits of his personal life, like uploading photos of him hanging out with his siblings and friends on Instagram or doing TikTok dances with Shaquille O’Neal’s sons, Shareef and Shaqir, as well as Lebron James’ son, Lebron Jr.
Justin Pippen, 2005
Three years later, on July 11, 2005, Larsa gave birth to Justin in California. Like his brothers, he attended Sierra Canyon and played for the basketball team. He also joined Stockton Soldiers, a team in the Amateur Athletic Union.
However, besides his impressive plays on the court, Justin also did some modeling. In 2016, he and his sister Sophia participated in a campaign called True Faces of the World, featuring kids from different backgrounds and cultures.
Sophia Pippen, 2008
Sophia is the youngest of the Pippen pack and Scottie and Larsa’s only daughter. She was born just after Christmas in 2008 and has already built a career.
At 10, she participated in Dancing with the Stars Junior. During her performance of Little Mermaid’s “Poor Unfortunate Souls,” her godmother Kim Kardashian appeared to give support. She also did some modeling with her brother Justin. She was even featured on the front cover of Harper’s Bazaar Kids.
Of course, just like any Gen Z, Sophia is very active on social media. She loves to share her fits and adventures on Instagram and do trendy dance moves on TikTok with her friends.
Scottie Pippen is a proud dad and a very supportive father to his children, especially with his three athletes and princess. He comes to their games and makes a few cameos in their TikTok videos. The retired NBA champ hopes to inspire all of his kids to believe in themselves, work hard, and follow their dreams.
