James Brown’s daughter, Venisha Brown, died at the age of 53 in 2018, and everyone is curious to know what may be her cause of death.
Growing up, she was surrounded by fame, considering she was the daughter of the one and only Godfather of soul, James Brown. Venisha somehow inherited his father’s musical talent, as she is also a musician and songwriter in her own right and has been performing and recording music since the 1990s.

Venisha was also not only known for her prosperous music career, since aside from spreading joy through music, she is also known for her kind-natured heart. She has been involved in various philanthropic endeavors, including working with children’s charities and organizations that support breast cancer research.
That said, when people heard about her sudden death, her passing was met with an outpouring of support and condolences from fans, friends, and family members.
Yamma Brown, Venisha’s half-sister, paid tribute to her on Instagram by posting a photo of them with a caption that says, “My beautiful big sis Venisha has received her angel’s wings…”. She said, “My heart is broken, but I am comforted by the peace you now have!!!”

Now, people are left curious about what may have caused the musician’s sudden death. As per Augusta University Health Medical Center, where Venisha was last hospitalized, the star died of “Pneumonia” just like her father, who died of the same condition at 73.
After receiving the report from the hospital, the James Brown Foundation confirmed her death in a release. Despite Venisha Brown’s passing, whose cause of death is Pneumonia, there is no doubt that her legacy as a musician and humanitarian will continue to inspire and impact future generations.
