Brandon R. Frankel was born in 1984 in the small and peaceful village of Buffalo Grove in Illinois, United States. He grew up in a relatively middle-class family that could send him to a good school for college.
In college, he attended Harper College, where he was able to finish his higher studies. After college, he immediately worked jobs to make ends meet. He kick-started his career in the entertainment industry as an assistant tour manager at Taproot.
He then worked as an assistant marketing at MB Financial Bank for two years and another six years as a tour manager at Atlantic Records. Today, he is the chief business officer and head of partnerships at NoCap.
Aside from his work in the entertainment industry, he also does social media projects where he grew his personal network.
How Did Brandon and Gabourey Met?
Brandon decided to take the risk and sign up for a dating app. Although initially unsure, he decided to have courage and take the chance to find love once again after his previous marriage didn’t work out.
After a few swipes, some unexpected events happen when he and Gabourey talk for hours. They eventually decided to date together, and the rest was already history.

In the said announcement post, Gabourey explained how Brandon popped the question to her, describing it as something so shocking yet so exciting at the same time. The proposal looks magical, with the rose petals scattered around, accompanied by lavish decors. But above all, was the “Will you marry me?” balloon sign.
They Finally Got Married in 2021
After a year and a half since their engagement, Gabourey shared some details about her wedding. It seems like the couple is planning to have their Nuptials in the spring of 2023. However, they couldn’t wait that long anymore, so they decided to finally tie the knot in 2022.
During her guest appearance in “Live with Kelly and Ryan,” Gabourey revealed that she disliked weddings. She then said that she and Brandon tied the knot “at the kitchen table” about four months after their engagement. However, to clarify, they are still planning to have the ceremony at a later date.

In 2023, Brandon made everyone awe when he tattooed “Gabourey” on his thigh.
He explained that he loved his wife so much that he wanted to ink her name on his skin forever. Although some would think this is already too much, for Brandon, this was proof of his undying love for his wife.
