Exactly one year after their first date last January 2021, Gus proposed to Samantha on the Indian Shore beach, where they first spent time together. Fans of the recently canceled Jersey Shore series addition have been looking forward to Gus’ big day since he got down on one knee.
As you all remember, Gus Smyrnios’s reputation during Floribama Shore has evolved into that of a heartthrob and the king of controversies. Since the first episode of Floribama Shore, Gus has never been seen without a female friend by his side. His girlfriend from season one, Nilsa Prowant, had a long-standing relationship with him.

The situation became troubling when Lisa Burns removed Nilsa Prowant from Gus’ social media accounts after the actor began dating her in the third season of Florida Shore. This relationship didn’t survive long because the heartthrob started flirting with Aimee Hall’s cousin, Athena Megaloudis, in Season 4.
Online users began making fun of the celebrity when the fourth season debuted. Gus of Floribama Shore appeared to be heavier in an old photograph they discovered. The actor allegedly suffered bullying due to his weight, leading to his breakups, so he subsequently started exercising.
Gus had many memorable events throughout Floribama Shore. However, the incident with Jeremiah Buoni that shattered their friendship is the cherry on top. There was also the time when Gus ran through subzero Montana in a tank top after the hairdryer incident with Candace Rice.

The proposal took place in Florida’s Indian Shores. Gus Smyrnios posted videos of the couple’s exclusive beachside picnic to his Instagram Story to give followers a glimpse of the moments leading up to his proposal.
During an outdoor wedding ceremony in Tampa, Florida, on October 8, 2022, the infamous lady-man of Floribama Shore, Gus, and his girlfriend, Samantha, exchanged vows as husband and wife. As they walked down the aisle hand-in-hand as the new Mr. and Mrs. Smyrnios in front of friends and family, they exuded an undeniable feeling of awe.
Gus looked sharp in an all-black tuxedo, and his wife shone in a simple, form-fitting gown. The newlyweds also remembered to share photos of the special event on their Instagram.
The reality show’s fans eagerly anticipated whether additional cast members would attend the ceremony. Gus had ultimately grown apart from most of his co-stars, except for Codi Butts, the only member of Floribama Shore to participate in the wedding.
