They were actually co-stars on the General Hospital show. They started their romance while filming the drama and had a fair share of struggles throughout their relationship. Kristina even stated in an interview that such things were unavoidable because they are thrown together on set romantically as co-stars, so ending up in a relationship is unavoidable.
When Kristina got pregnant with her son Peter in 1990, the couple made their relationship public. They then chose to marry once and for all three years later, when their second son was born in 1994.
A few years later, after Wagner and Kristina’s ended their marriage, Wagner was able to meet Heather Locklear. They dated for about four years and were engaged for two months. However, it seems like they didn’t end up marrying each other when they decided to split and end their relationship.

Then, one year after their breakup, Wagner met Ashley Jones, whom he had allegedly been married to for nine years. The two were also co-stars in the show ‘The Bold and the Beautiful.’ It seems like Wagner is fond of marrying his co-stars.

However, it was reported that Kristina and Wagner had come together to celebrate their son Harrison’s 25th birthday. Unfortunately, Harrison passed away at the age of 27 last 2022.
