If you love reality TV dramas, then you’ve surely caught Real Housewives of New Jersey (RHONJ) star Jennifer Aydin’s nose job issue under your radar. But if you haven’t, no worries. We already did the whole job for you and are here to spill the whole tea.
Jennifer Aydin, the wife of double board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon Dr. Bill Aydin, is no stranger to altering specific parts of her body.
In 2019, she debuted her ‘skinny Minnie’ body on RHONJ, which was a culmination of her diet, exercise, and of course, the help of her husband. According to the reality TV star, she had a breast reduction, liposuction, and a breast lift with an implant. She was so happy with the result, dropping multiple dress sizes down, and didn’t miss her ‘mushy, saggy melons’ at all.

A month later, Bravo TV published an article about the star pushing through her personal decision to go through the knife again. This time it was a tummy tuck.
In her update to her followers, she shared that she knew some of her fans might hate her for being so honest with what she had done so far. However, she expressed that this was something that women like her struggle with and contemplate. It was scary for her, but after she lost a lot of weight (from bearing all five children), she decided to go for it.
Of course, no one can argue that the star didn’t look so snatched after the procedure.
Then in 2021, she took another shot by getting a nose job and a chin implant. Although, she did it in Turkey with Dr. Mustafa Ali Yanik this time instead of her husband because he complained that she was the ‘worst patient ever.’

In the premiere of RHONJ’s season 12, which started filming at the start of summer 2021, Aydin’s co-star Jackie Goldschneider commented how terrible her nose looked to Margaret Josephs, Melissa Gorga, and Traci Johnson. During this time, Aydin was just four weeks post-op.
“I’m sorry. It’s bad,” Goldschneider continued.
Josephs went ahead and defended Aydin, telling Goldschneider that it was a bit mean. However, the former lawyer simply replied that she didn’t care and thought Aydin was beautiful before the surgeries. An Instagram fan account for the show uploaded a clip of that conversation after it aired, prompting Aydin’s response.
She said in a comment that she, too, wasn’t happy with the way her face looked when they filmed that day. “The bottom half of my face was still numb, and it was hard for it to move because of my chin implant,” she wrote.

Aydin knew the risks she was getting into when she decided to do plastic surgery but held on to the hope that she would be happy with the results. Unfortunately, she wasn’t, which was why she announced that she was officially done with plastic surgeries.
Then, in late January 2022, Aydin shared through her Instagram stories that she had her chin implant removed. As for her nose job, it had settled in nicely, but it was still something that she regretted getting done.
She also asked fans and viewers to be kind as they watched her healing process. “It wasn’t easy to share…any of it ????????,” she added.
Cosmetic procedures in the celebrity world have always been common. While it aligns with the ‘your body, your choice’ movement, it remains a contentious topic whether it really empowers women or only feeds off the standard that patriarchy has dictated. After all, it begs the question: Who said that a certain look is the way that is described as beautiful?
Well, that’s the whole tea.
