Jon Bon Jovi, the leader of the well-known rock band Bon Jovi, has made headlines again. But it’s not because of him or the band, but because of his eldest son, Jesse Bongiovi, who is now engaged to his four-year girlfriend, Jesse Light.
For those who don’t know, Jon Bon Jovi is an American singer known for dominating the music industry for most of his career. At such a young age, he began his incredible musical career with much hard work. The biggest shift of his career started in the 1980s when he decided to form Bon Jovi, one of the most well-known rock bands in history.

After the release of his first solo single for the movie Young Guns II a few years later in his career, Bon Jovi started to go solo and has since developed into one of the most in-demand rock performers to this day.
We also can’t forget Bon Jovi’s personal life. He married his high school sweetheart, Dorothea Hurley, in 1989. The two shared four children: Jacob Hurlet Bogiovi, Stephanie Rose Bongiovi, Romeo Jon Bongiovi, and Jesse Bongiovi.
Since literally, their father is one of the brightest stars in the industry; it is quite apparent that as children of the great star, people are also taking an interest in them. The eldest son of Jon Bon Jovi made headlines when the news broke out of his engagement with his long-time girlfriend for four years, Jesse Light, in 2022.

Being a co-founder of Hampton Water, Jesse Bongiovi is well known for being a successful entrepreneur. Light, on the other hand, also came from a very prominent family. Rob Light, her father, is a leading figure in the music industry.
He has managed big artists like Carrie Underwood, The Weeknd, Cardi B, and Harry Styles under his Creative Artists Agency. Aside from that, Light herself is also a well-known TV producer who are friends with well-known celebrities like Miley Cyrus.
That said, with many similarities in different aspects, both Bongiovi and Light were able to get closer to one another. So close that Bongiovi decided to make things official as he popped the question to Light.
For the momentous occasion, Bongiovi chose an outside setting and got down on one knee before two enormous, lavish bouquets of white flowers. Candles lined the space, and a bed of white flower petals was also seen around during the event.

On the other hand, Light appeared to be joyfully in love as she kissed Bongiovi and warmly embraced her new fiance. The couple’s family, including Bon Jovi himself, was present for the proposal, which took place in East Hampton. Everyone gathered to celebrate the engagement on the Surf Lodge’s terrace in Montauk, New York, where Bongiovi and Light first met in 2018.
Although the news of Jesse Bongiovi being engaged has been out already, as of 2023, the date of the wedding day hasn’t been announced yet. But one thing is for sure; it will definitely be the wedding of the century.
