Grease actor John Travolta wished his son Benjamin Travolta a happy birthday with a very adorable photo of young Ben cuddling his dog Peanut. He posted the photo on Instagram last November 23, 2022, for his son’s 12th birthday.
Ella Bleu, Ben’s older sister, also shared a cute photo of him and Peanut with a greeting saying, “Happy Birthday to the sweetest boy I know❤️???????? I love you!!!”

Peanut, formerly known as Mac N Cheese, was adopted by John himself for Ben. Actress Jamie Lee Curtis brought the pup on the stage of the 94th Academy Awards as a tribute to the late Betty White’s dedication to animal welfare. The two definitely formed an amazing friendship.
Benjamin and Ella are John’s children with his late wife, Kelly Preston. The two eloped in Paris in 1991 (after their wedding plans in New York City got so big and crazy) and welcomed their first son Jett in 1992.
Unfortunately, Jett died in 2009 following a seizure when the family was off vacationing in the Bahamas. Their daughter Ella arrived in 2000, and then ten years later, they welcomed their youngest child Ben.

In an interview with Health magazine, Kelly said she was floored when she found out she was pregnant with Ben. That is because she and John had been trying on and off to conceive. They were so happy with the news that they both started crying.
The actress passed away in July 2020 at 57 years old after losing her two-year battle with breast cancer. According to a family representative who spoke exclusively with PEOPLE, Kelly chose to keep her fight private and had undergone medical treatment for some time with the support of her closest family and friends.
Her last public appearance was in June 2018 when she and John walked the red carpet for the premiere of their film “Gotti,” where they played husband and wife.
After her death, John took a break from the industry to be there for his children. He and Ben have been having so much fun in the past few years.

In August 2022, John shared a video of Ben doing parkour at an indoor adventure gym. The young Travolta even achieved a new ranking as a ‘level 3 ninja’ in his training.
