Actress Lindsay Lohan was the style icon for early ‘90s kids. However, her portfolio wasn’t just pages of nice, trendy clothes and high heels, but also a collection of mugshots.
From 2007 until 2013, Lindsay was arrested at least six times for various charges, including driving under the influence (DUI), cocaine possession, grand theft, and probation violation.
Through those years, she changed from being a fresh-faced teenager to a more hardened and troubled adult. So, let’s take a trip down memory lane, shall we?
2007
After a work-heavy year, starring in films “Just My Luck,” “A Prairie Home,” and “Bobby,” Lindsay Lohan greeted 2007 with a turbulent bang.
In January, she entered a drug rehab program at the Wonderland Center in Los Angeles for the first time. Months later, in May, she was arrested for DUI and cocaine possession following a car crash in Beverly Hills. She was then checked into a rehab facility in Malibu.
However, it seemed like trouble was something she liked to dip her toes in. In July, she was arrested again for driving with a suspended license and cocaine possession (again) after a chase in Santa Monica. Then she was admitted to rehab for the third time in Sundance, Utah.
In August, she pleaded guilty to her misdemeanor cocaine use and DUI. She was sentenced to a day in jail with ten days of community service and three years of probation. She served her time in jail in November though only for 84 minutes due to jail overcrowding.
2010
Lindsay Lohan had quite an eventful year in 2008 with a handful of legal troubles. But overall, she had no arrests. 2009 was a relatively quieter year for her compared to the previous ones. However, she was still running headlines with her relationship issues.
In 2010, the actress was back at it again.
In May, she missed her court hearing for her probation violation, alleging that her passport got stolen when she attended the Cannes Film Festival. A warrant was issued but later recalled after she posted bail.
A month later, she appeared in court and was sentenced to 90 days in jail. On top of that, she had to enter rehab again for 90 days as she failed to attend her alcohol education classes.

Then in July, she surrendered herself for her jail sentence but ended up serving only 14 days out of the 90 due to good behavior and good old overcrowding. She got into rehab, and then shortly after she got out, she was briefly jailed again.
She failed her court-mandated drug test and was positive for cocaine use. However, she made bail and entered rehab (for the nth time) at Betty Ford Center, where she had a physical altercation with a staff member. She was almost sued for assault too.
2011
The actress didn’t take any rest from being a troublemaker. In February, she was charged with felony grand theft after allegedly stealing a $2500 necklace while shopping in Venice. She pleaded not guilty and was released on bail. A few months later, she was sentenced to 120 days in jail and 480 hours of community service after she violated her probation for the theft case.
After back and forth in bail and appeal, she served her theft sentence at home with an electronic ankle bracelet. She was out after 35 days. She was set to do community service but failed due to non-compliance. She was sentenced to do another round at the Los Angeles County morgue. She performed her duties well and got a glowing probation report.

2012 was a mix of reviving her career, reputation, and legal troubles. She was arrested multiple times, but there was no formal jail time due to dropped charges or lack of evidence.
Then in 2013, she was sentenced to 90 days in a locked rehab facility with provisions for community service and psychotherapy sessions for her June 2012 car accident case (charged with reckless driving and lying to law enforcement) on the Pacific Coast Highway. Aside from those, she also paid an undisclosed amount of restitution to the truck driver that she hit.
