What Happened to Mindy and Zach of Married at First Sight?

The show, Married at First Sight continued to live up to its insane concept of having two people tie the knot after their first meeting, just like Mindy and Zach. The two joined the show during Season 10, and their relationship is one that many anticipated watching.

Before joining the show, Zach Justice is a fitness professional who loves to share his daily fitness journey on his Instagram. Mindy Shiben, on the other hand, is a former competitive figure skater and also embarked on coaching afterward. Mindy was also a member of the U.S. Air Force before she started teaching ice skating.

Even though they were keen to find a spouse, Zach and Mindy’s marriage ended up being one of the most dismal marriages ever depicted in MAFS, despite their desire to find a companion. When Zach revealed that he intended to move into a different apartment with his bride, things got off and shaky for the couple.

Sadly, Zach didn’t become close to Mindy throughout their time together in MAFS season 10 because he didn’t fall in love with his wife. Zach eventually acknowledged that he didn’t find Mindy attractive and could not develop any romantic feelings with her. After all that, things finally went downhill when Zach was caught flirting with his wife’s friend.

That said, it looks like Mindy and Zach were unsurprised at how Married at First Sight turned out for them. During an exclusive interview with In Touch magazine, Zach Justice acknowledged that he had no clue what he had gotten into, was in over his head and that both had no chemistry from the beginning.

Unfortunately, no one was surprised by the couple choosing to end their marriage on Decision Day. Additionally, Mindy Shiben revealed during a May 2020 visit on the podcast Hot Marriage Cool Parents, hosted by Married at First Sight alumni Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner, that she was glad to split up with him. However, despite their failed marriage, the ex-couple continued living their lives to the fullest.

After her Married at First Sight Journey ended, Mindy moved to Mexico and taught English. Although Mindy’s Instagram paints her daily life as paradise, her social media accounts show she has only sometimes spent her days at the beach. Mindy has achieved several challenging fitness objectives, including competing in American Ninja Warrior.

Zach now resides in Washington, D.C., and seems to be over Married at First Sight. He also has been engaged in his activities in the fitness industry. He frequently uploads photos to Instagram that show off his remarkable physique.

He offers his followers workout advice as well. He doesn’t seem to be dating right now because he concentrates on his company, The Casual Athlete.

Despite being outrageous, Married at First Sight offered many insights into the many things that could happen during a marriage. It might not be conventional, but the show allows participants to discover themselves and find lifelong partners.

For Mindy and Zach, their time on Married at First Sight didn’t go so well. If their relationship continued, they couldn’t escape a more significant problem which would be miscommunication and a lack of chemistry. Judging by the looks of how they are living at the moment, both of them are better off separated.
