“The Challenge” alum Stephen Bear was found guilty of revenge porn against his ex-girlfriend, Georgia Harrison. According to sources, the reality TV star has been accused of voyeurism and sharing intimate, sexual images and recordings of the two together.
As soon as the news got out, people began to wonder why he suddenly decided to do such a thing. According to some sources, Bear was accused of secretly filming personal moments with Harrison and distributing the tapes to acquaintances after their split. As a result, this caused him to serve some time in jail.
Fans didn’t anticipate such incidents since the two were seemingly such a great couple together. However, after they broke up, months before the intimate footage was seen, it was already known that the two quite had a problem amid their relationship.

After analyzing the whole situation, the court finally gave a verdict. Bear was found guilty of voyeurism and two counts of disclosing private sexual photographs and films.
However, Bear thinks that the trial wasn’t fair to him from the beginning. It was as if he was fighting a losing battle, knowing that no matter how much he tried to defend himself, Harrison would always win the case.
But it seems like Bear was able to bail out of jail after paying a whopping £207,900 to Harrison, which is known to be the highest-ever sum awarded in an image abuse case ever. However, even after the verdict, it seems like Harrison’s suffering has never ended.

In a statement, she expressed that she has been in absolute hell for the last two years. The verdict allowed her to start to put the pain she had suffered in the past behind and embrace the future.
She even continued by saying that she hoped that taking a stand would give other revenge porn victims the courage to seek justice and, most importantly, show everyone that they have absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. Although she has felt ashamed one way or another, hurt and violated in many ways.
She is still proud of herself for taking a stand. She also feels empowered and grateful that despite what happened to her, people and her fans have supported her throughout this ordeal.
Fans already knew since the beginning that no matter how much Bear tries to win the case, Harrison will have the last laugh, considering that Bear clearly violated Harrison’s privacy and dignity.
On top of that, the fact that he was also her boyfriend before makes it worse. That’s why many people were sure he had knowingly shared explicit content without her consent to degrade and embarrass her after their break-up.
That said, it was only natural that Bear would be arrested and sentenced to 15 months in prison, with the possibility of parole after serving half of his sentence. But since he already paid the necessary bail, Bear is now a free man and plans to become a music star and start his own band.

However, on the other hand, it seems like Harrison has continually been traumatized by the experience of being a victim of revenge porn. As a result, she urges others to take the crime seriously and report it to the authorities if they feel they are being victimized, like what happened to her.
With that said, many people, fans or not, have praised Harrison for her courage and dignity to fight for her own justice. Even the deputy chief of the CPS East of England commends her for what she did.
That’s why the authorities now encourage everyone to come forward and report any incident of revenge crime that may have happened to them or others so that the authorities can take appropriate actions.
After all, misogyny and violence against women or any gender, in all its forms, is wrong no matter what angle we look at it. That’s why it is the victims’ duty to stand together to stamp it out of society.
