How Finn’s Storyline And Death Impacted The Fans Of The Bold And The Beautiful

Everyone was utterly devastated when Finn from The Bold and The Beautiful had an unexpected death caused by his biological mother and villainess of the show, Sheila.

Everyone quickly turned against the show for their writing, questioning why they had to kill off Finn. The character ultimately became a beloved fan favorite and is the other half of the unique power couple composed of himself and Steffy Forrester.

With that, let’s dive into the character of John “Finn” Finnegan, how his character ultimately impacted the show’s overall storyline, and how his death was a tragedy for the fans.

What Happened To Finn On The Bold And The Beautiful

For fans, the presence of Finn was another exciting addition to the show. His existence finally stopped the love triangle between Liam, Hope, and Steffy, which had been dragging on for too long. It came to a point where fans hoped it would end, and it did with the ER doctor John “Finn’ Finnegan.

Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan was first introduced to the show as the doctor who treated Steffy after she collided with Bill Spencer’s car while on a motorcycle ride. He was the one who focused all his attention on Steffy, making sure that she was well taken care of and actively checking up on her when he could.

Finn was the one who told an incredibly anxious and worried Bill Spencer that Steffy would be okay. Everyone was delighted when it was revealed that he lived nearby Steffy when he came by to deliver the paperwork from the hospital himself. Finn eventually became the one the fans actively rooted for Steffy as their relationship progressed.

After that, their chemistry and romance eventually kicked off. Finn became a beloved character in the show with his willingness to help and love for Steffy. Fans were kicking their feet, wishing for a man like him to come into their life.

Unfortunately, the writers of the show decided to kill him off. Finn’s death in The Bold and The Beautiful received a lot of backlash from the fans as he died after the supposed villainess of the show, Sheila, was trying to take out Steffy, who was constantly meddling in her schemes. As a result, Finn loses his life after taking a bullet for her.

After that, Finn was presumed dead, which devastated Steffy and the people watching. It led to a tsunami of hate comments against the show’s writer for killing such a beloved character.

Although, just like any soap opera, no one is truly dead. So the question everyone had been asking, “Is Finn dead on Bold and Beautiful?” fortunately had the answer of no.

It was eventually revealed that Li was the one who took care of Finn while he was unconscious, not dead, from what the producers wanted us to believe. When he woke up, he was surprised to see Sheila.

Of course, Sheila wasn’t going to let him out of her sight, but Li and Bill showed up just in time to save the day after surviving another scheme from Sheila.

After that unfortunate set of events, Bill helped Finn go to Monaco after Steffy admitted herself to a rehabilitation center to cope with the loss. A happy ending ensues for the couple as they reunite in a church in Monaco.

Although this isn’t the last time we hear of Sheila’s schemes…
