‘Worst Decision’: Tori Deal Regrets Hooking Up After Split With Jordan Wiseley

In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly in October 2022MTV personality Tori Deal shared her regrets about hooking up with fellow Challenger Fessy Shafaat after her engagement with Jordan Wiseley ended. Deal even called it “the worst decision of her life.”

Deal first met Wiseley on her rookie season of The Challenge, which was Dirty 30 back in 2017. They started dating after that season and then got engaged two years later while filming War of the Worlds 2. Things ultimately didn’t work out for them, and they broke up in the fall of 2020.

She said, “I mean, it’s, no offense to Fessy, like, you know, he’s a good person and … I was in a really bad spot.” At that time, according to the reality TV star, she was just really living in the s–t of her life. She was going through a really hard breakup, and rebounding was something that people did.

She did a lot of growing up over the last two years and worked hard on herself. She also accepted that she had to live and move on with her mistakes.

Meeting The Ex

The ex-couple met for the first time again – after two years – on The Challenge: Ride or Diesand there were a lot of emotions – or at least it was for Deal.

The two had an amicable split, and Deal had nothing but good things to say about her ex. In her Instagram post, where she announced that they had called off their engagement, she said there was a different kind of love when they decided it was time to experience life apart. She adds that even though they were moving forward in separate directions, they will continue to love and support each other.

However, there was a bit of awkwardness after rumors of her cheating on him circulated. Though it wasn’t true, it still caused tension between them because her fling happened just a little over two months after they split.

Nevertheless, Deal never felt that she had to get out of their situation, and running from this part of her life didn’t cross her mind. In fact, she even saw their reunion as an opportunity to finally get the closure she was searching for.

Of course, that didn’t mean it was easy.

During filming, Wiseley hooked up with Nurys Mateo and Deal, admittedly found it hard to navigate through it. Obviously, she understood, especially since she knew she had her fair share.

She said, “Like, we broke up, I hooked up with Fessy after … [and] that triggered Jordan. … I understand that Jordan did things the way he wanted to.” But unlike him, she was there in the house with them and, at the same time, she had to continue playing the game.

The reality star said it was one of the most emotionally taxing seasons she had ever been on. Despite all that, she didn’t regret any of it. It was definitely the best they had ever been since splitting. She adds that going through all the motions led them to have a nice relationship that didn’t feel toxic.

Will they get back together?

When asked whether they will ever rekindle their romance, Deal said it wasn’t in the cards. There was still so much love, but the two of them lived completely different lives. First, they were too far away from each other. Second, they were still exploring what it was like to be individuals.

Additionally, Deal said she had been single for the longest time and honestly couldn’t be happier. She felt like she was so drained from all the relationships that she needed to step away. That was probably the case for Wisely, too, so they were really just content being great friends

Tori Deal and Jordan Wiseley may not have been each other’s happily ever after. However, they have given each other great memories that will forever be in their hearts.
