Welcome to Plathville is a TLC original reality show that follows the lives of Barry and Kim Plath. It also includes their nine children, Ethan, Hosanna, Micah, Lydia, Isaac, Amber, Cassia, Mercy, and of course, Moriah.
Moriah has a set of unforgettable moments in the show, but one of the most known to many is her heart-aching breakup with her boyfriend, Max. That’s why many wonder what happened with Moriah and Max.

They have been dating one another since 2020 and were introduced to the show in its second season. Everything was going pretty smoothly for both of them.
Viewers even thought they were already each other’s end game since by Season 3, Moriah and Max’s relationship was closer than ever. Fans also went nuts when Max gifted Moriah with a promise ring, but it seems like promises are indeed meant to be broken. The couple decided to end their relationship in 2021.
Max has explained in detail why his relationship with Moriah has ended. In the video he posted online, it was pretty clear that their relationship wasn’t as glamorous as many think. Max then talks with Moriah’s brother, Micah, revealing that he has kissed another girl.

However, people are unconvinced since the video posted online clearly stated that what happened between Max and the mystery girl wasn’t just a kiss. It was far ahead than he initially wanted.
Even Moriah has stated her side, saying that she will no longer zip her mouth to protect Max from the bashing. Moriah states that Max has been telling lies one after another.
She states that their relationship wasn’t that complicated and that they have also been planning their future together. It seems that’s why she can’t comprehend why Max would lie about them not being on good terms.
As a result, their breakup was so heartbreaking for Moriah, considering that the man she loved had been trying to come up with reasons to justify himself cheating on her.
In one of the episodes, she stated, “If we were in a funk, then he should’ve told me that’s how he felt because it’s really hard to watch him say that and be like, ‘Are you trying to put this on me? Like, we were already in a funk, so that’s why I cheated on her,’
It was so hurtful on her part that Max wouldn’t just admit that he had cheated on her rather than trying to come up with unbelievable reasons.

However, it seems Max is also bringing up Moriah’s family as one of the reasons behind their split. He keeps on blaming Moriah and her family for the actions he did. He wasn’t comfortable with Moriah’s siblings, which may have caused some communication issues between them.
It seems like right off the bat, Max’s relationship with Moriah’s family wasn’t that good either, which caused their relationship to fall apart.
It’s been quite a while since their break up. Moriah has been doing great lately, following her dreams of becoming a singer and sharing some snips of her dancing in her social media account. People have shown support for her, and that’s why she will surely reach the top in no time.
