Do you remember the show The Bachelor? Well, it seems like there is a spin-off of it called the ‘Bachelor in Paradise.’ The program involves past competitors from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette as they go to a hidden paradise in Mexico. Just like any dating show, some drama is to be expected.
Brendan and Pieper are one of the show’s iconic couples. Everyone is talking about this pair. The couple met through familiar Bachelor Nation friends after competing on The Bachelorette and The Bachelor, respectively, and began spending time together. Yet, they kept their relationship casual until both were cast on season 7 of Bachelor in Paradise.
Brendan was part of the initial cast, and Pieper joined later in the show. When they arrived on the beach, they immediately clicked and took their relationship even further.
Controversies Surrounding Their Relationship

They also admitted to having a romance before appearing on the show to make things a bit exciting for the audience. Because of this, Brendan and Pieper made enemies on the show. Since the two were accused of hatching a grand scheme to get followers. But the most significant factor in this issue was Natasha Parker, who was left in the process.
Natasha and Brendan had something going on before Pieper arrived. However, it is said that Brendan swiftly deserted Natasha to reunite with Pieper in the end. Unfortunately, the pair faced massive criticism from their cast mates and the show’s followers. So, they eventually departed the show to focus on their relationship discreetly.
At first, Brendan attempted to defend his behavior by claiming that he and Pieper were not “exclusive” before the show. He also claimed that his relationship with Natasha was nothing special, so it became combative.
That’s why the two decided to depart, notwithstanding their insistence that they had done nothing wrong. They addressed the group, stating they were with the people they wanted to be with and would continue exploring their relationship off-screen.
Brendan Apologized to Natasha for Being Insensitive

After a while, Brendan retracts his statements regarding the turmoil between himself, Natasha, and Pieper. He openly addressed the love triangle on social media, apologizing for his “insensitive” post following their intense episode in paradise involving Natasha.
In one of his tweets, he admitted that he was wrong on several levels. He had no idea his post would cause such pain to someone. And his snarky and callous approach to many aspects of life is indeed unacceptable, and he is striving hard to stop doing it.
Brendan also apologized directly to Natasha, saying he was truly sorry for hurting her. Brendan also said he had already realized what he had done wrong and the damage he had caused.
As a result, he will openly admit his mistake and learn from it moving forward. Brendan has also apologized to their fans, who are also deeply involved in the issue.
Brendan also said, “Finally, even though Pieper and I had misunderstandings before entering paradise (and I can’t emphasize this enough), if you feel the need to vent your scorn for the situation, please do it at my cost since I am entirely to blame.”
Although Natasha hasn’t replied to the apology, she did make a lengthy Instagram post that people says is the indirect reply she wants to give Brendan.
In the post, she states that sometimes our hearts are shattered. We weep over it. We blame ourselves. It’s easy to throw up barriers and give up on love.
However, she realized that one’s capacity to love, trust, exhibit vulnerability, and be nice to others mirrors oneself. When people neglect you, take advantage of you, mislead you, and choose selfishness, it also reflects who they are.
The Low-Down on Brendan and Pieper’s Current Relationship

Returning to Brendan and Pieper, they have been going strong since taking their love off-screen. Brendan and Pieper are enjoying their lives as if there is no tomorrow, doing everything attractive couples do.
Pieper bids Brendan a happy birthday on her Instagram account in 2022. She also shared a photo of them two kissing on a New York sidewalk and another of them smiling at a Celtics game.
Moreover, Pieper also answers fan inquiries regarding their future together and some of her aspirations. During an Instagram Q&A, a fan asked Pieper when she and Brendan planned to marry. Pieper was open in her response to playing safe as much as possible.
Pieper states that while she adores Brendan and is pleased with where they are heading right now, she knows for herself, at least, she needs to ‘get her shit worked out.’ Pieper also believes that she needs to be a bit more independent in all facets of her life before she can say she is ready for marriage. Pieper then continued by saying that Brendan would surely agree with her decision.
That said, Pieper also highlighted some of her goals for 2023, in which she stated that she has many ambitions, eventually leading her to make a vision board.
In her vision board, she wrote that, professionally, she wants to return to a full-time job. However, she also wants to create high-quality content on her social media accounts that correlates with her interests, like fashion, hair, and travel. She wants to land projects that interest her and not just post anything on the internet for the sake of posting.
Moreover, she also stated that she wants to travel and do more. As opposed to constantly telling herself she is going to ‘do’ and then talking herself out of it because it could be difficult or she might fail.
Brendan and Pieper’s relationship has been through a lot already. However, despite the setbacks and ups and downs, they stayed together, getting stronger for one another, and will surely go a long way more.
