Ryan Reynolds Wins The Best Bernie Sanders Meme With Hilarious Deadpool Feature

Actor Ryan Reynolds, being Ryan Reynolds, didn’t miss the chance to submit his own version of the Bernie Sanders meme. And we have to say, his hilarious parody featuring his character Deadpool won us and the internet.

It was the 2021 Presidential Inauguration for Joe Biden and a cold day in Washington, D.C. The Vermont senator was in attendance, all bundled up, wearing a mute-colored coat adorably matched with a pair of homemade mittens crafted by a resident from a local Vermont resident.

He was sitting with his arms and legs crossed, looking quite unamused (some even thought he was a bit grumpy) while waiting for the event to start. Well, it was cold, so who could blame him?

Sanders easily stole the spotlight with his look, even with all the inspiring performances and powerful speeches that happened that day. Of course, the internet does what the internet does, and Sanders became a viral meme overnight.

Several celebrities also joined in on the fun, including Kevin Hart, who looked quite suave having a drink while the senator was sitting and most likely waiting for him in the background.

There’s also Paul Bettany, who photoshopped Sanders in an episode still of Wandavision where he was doing a bit of magic.

Sarah Jessica Parker also submitted her own take, making it look like the cast of Sex and the City are hanging out with him. Though Sanders was apparently not enjoying it.

Last but not least is Ryan Reynolds. We all know how he never skips an opportunity like this. He superimposed Bernie Sanders beside Deadpool in the photo he uploaded on his Instagram.

The MCU superhero was reading something – and probably planning his next chaotic move – while the senator was just sitting and chillin’ right next to him.

In a later interview after his photo went meme-viral, Sanders joked that his meme had made people aware that they make good mittens back in Vermont and good coats as well. The senator was wearing a Burton coat, whose company is based in Burlington, Vermont.
