Sing 2 has been a crowd favorite since its release.
Ever since the first one, the movie has captivated the avid animated and musical fans, young and adult alike. Actors who voiced the characters surprised many viewers because of their ability to sing, including Taron Egerton, Scarlett Johanson, Letitia Wright, and others. Singers like Halsey and Pharell Williams did not come to play and slayed not only in singing, but also in acting.
Sing 2 is great, singing and acting-wise, and there’s no doubt about it; with the star-studded cast, their exceptional singing talent, and their acting abilities, who wouldn’t love this animated musical?
Mike, the Arrogant Little Mouse

The famous Seth McFarlane is the excellent and talented voice actor of Mike, a male mouse with high hopes in the movie, Sing. He is undeniably an arrogant little mouse deeply motivated by greed and power. Because of his proud personality, he even said that he went to the Lincoln School of Music to boast about his singing prowess.
Despite his arrogance in the movie, Mike has become one of the crowd favorites. He sings amazingly well, especially with his version of “My Way” by Frank Sinatra. But when the trailer for the sequel dropped in June 2021, someone was missing. And that someone was the arrogant little mouse, Mike.
Why was Mike the Mouse Not In Sing 2?

In 2021, when the trailer for Sing 2 was made public, fans were left confused as to why Mike, the greedy yet talented mouse, was not in the trailer video. The absence of Mike has led to a few theories created by the fans.
Mike might have been too deep in his gambling habit with the three bears. In the first movie, he cheated on the bears in a card game, angering the bears. The events then transpired into Mike being taken out by the bears and even swallowing him (don’t worry, he was spat out, eventually). Others said he just wasn’t fit for the sequel’s storyline, and the worst theory was about the bears eating our little guy, Mike.
At first, Mike’s absence was not immediately addressed by Garth Jennings, the writer and director, or even by the voice actor Seth McFarlane. However, in an official discussion thread for the sequel, a user said that Garth finally answered our questions about Mike.
Although Garth loved Seth as the voice actor for the mouse, Garth almost too straightforwardly said that he just had enough of the character. But he considered the talented voice actor to voice Mike the Mouse again if ever there was Sing 3.
While there is no official news yet if Sing 3 is coming to theaters worldwide, let’s hope that the third movie installment will include our little mouse, Mike.
