On the other hand, Luckett’s ex-husband, Tommicus Walker, is a well-known American entrepreneur with vast experience in sales and has worked for FedEx as a solutions design and implementation analyst.
As of 2023, he is currently the owner of Walker Enterprises. He earned an M.B.A. from Dowling College after playing Collegiate football for Texas Christian University. He gained so much popularity after his marriage to LeToya Luckett.
According to reports, the ex-couple began dating in 2010. Many of Luckett’s admirers know her struggles to maintain a relationship since then.
That’s why, during an interview, Luckett herself began to pray for the man she desired; months later, at a wedding, one of her friends insisted that she meet Walker, resulting in the two getting to know each other.
In an interview, Luckett shared that when she first met Walker, the chemistry was there immediately, and the fact that they are both from Texas made things even better. Talking to Walker felt like being home again for Luckett. That’s why many say that the singer might have fallen for Walker at first sight.
After getting to know each other, the two decided to hit it off and began a relationship. Luckett and Walker went public with their relationship in August 2017 after he surprised her with a proposal on her birthday. It showed the fans that their relationship was relatively healthy.
As their connection grew deeper, the couple finally decided to officially tie the knot as they married in 2017 at the Villa Antonia in Jonestown, Texas, known as Luckett and Walker’s hometown.

Two years later, in 2019, they welcomed their first child, a daughter named Gianna. The couple then expanded their family when their son, Tysun, was born in late 2020. Sadly, Luckett and Walker announced their separation a few months after Tysun’s birth for unknown reasons.
Although there have been reports that the couple has tried to fix things on their own, it seems that since the divorce was finalized, fans have already lost hope that they’ll ever see the couple together again.
But despite all this, the couple remained in a healthy civil relationship with one another for the sake of their children. In a post, Luckett shared her deepest desire for them to be loving co-parents and keep a peaceful environment out of respect for their children.
She has also asked their fans to understand their need for privacy, considering they didn’t tell anyone why they split up. She also wanted to remind everyone that despite what happened, all must still spread love.
She ended the whole post by saying thanks to their supporters for the endless prayers, support, and space to heal as they tread through this challenging time as a family.
Many people also want to know Walker’s perspective regarding the whole situation. In a post he shared online, Walker stated that even though it may seem like he didn’t get hurt by the whole situation, he was actually suffering greatly, saying that everything was ‘difficult’ for everybody.
