Rapper Yung Gravy, notoriously known for dating older women (specifically moms), shared a short but sweet romance with the mom of famous TikTok influencer Addison Rae, Sheri Easterling. Even with the rapper’s reputation, they still caused quite a stir on the Internet.

On July 14, 2022, Yung Gravy, aka “the MILF guy,” made his move on Easterling with a video upload on his TikTok featuring the TikToker’s mom’s social media pages. Interestingly, he highlighted every “single mom” text written in each bio. Then, at the end of the video, he overlayed himself on her Instagram profile with a smile on his face.
Easterling didn’t miss Yung Gravy’s flirting, and she didn’t just acknowledge it; she even flirted back. On that same day, she uploaded a TikTok of herself with a next-date predictor that generated a “picnic in the park with her dog.” However, she edited the random shuffler result and posted the rapper’s name on it. She definitely wasn’t shy.
Of course, Yung Gravy had to reply. He uploaded a stitch, with the first part of the video a repost of Easterling’s and then the second half a reaction of him exclaiming, “Oh, it’s on site baby!” He then wrote a flirty caption telling Easterling just to name a time and place. Then, on August 3, Yung Gravy candidly talked about what was happening with him and Easterling. He shared that Addison Rae’s mom showed him some love and DM-ed him at one point. So, it was only natural for him to show some love back.
Then, according to him, they were just being cute. He added that they were “making videos back and forth and sending little wholesome DMs.”
However, all this time, they still had never seen each other. Additionally, Yung Gravy revealed that he was planning to take her out on a date.
Aside from still not seeing each other face-to-face, fans were also curious about Addison Rae’s reaction to the whole thing. She still hadn’t made any public comments, but the rapper mentioned her once in his interview with the Zach Sang Show.
He expressed feeling bad about her and her mom. However, he emphasized that he was steering clear of Easterling’s issue as she explicitly told him not to get involved.

After what seemed a very long wait, the couple finally made it out of the screen. Of course, their first date didn’t disappoint. They showed up on the red carpet of the 2022 MTV VMAs in matching outfits and even shared a kiss for the cameras.
During the pre-show, Yung Gravy chatted with MTV and told them more about his connection with Easterling. He said that they hit it off right away despite being complete opposites.
He described it as he was the furthest north as it got while she was the furthest south. Another important part was that he was into MILFs, and Easterling was kind of the queen of the MILFs. So, to him, they were just a perfect match.

Following the couple’s red carpet debut, Easterling’s ex-husband Monty Lopez publicly called out the rapper on his Instagram story. Over a shirtless mirror selfie of his, he wrote that he was unbothered by all the fuss, and he even personally thanked Yung Gravy for taking his leftovers.
He also noted that he would rather spend his time with his daughter and two grandkids he allegedly abandoned because of his ex-wife than be with her. He signed off with a message, “Never let a woman make you choose between her and or your blood child.”
However, he wasn’t done talking about them. The next day, he seemingly shaded them with a video featuring a superimposed cartoon version of his head running through the streets and getting chased by a cop car.

Aside from Lopez, the Internet definitely had some things to say about them – especially with their decision to pack the night with some PDA. They even dragged Addison Rae and said that no one would want to be her trending with her mom and her romance.
However, Yung Gravy immediately went on the defense for Easterling and told everyone to leave her alone. She was just newly single, and she was living her life.

Sadly, after two months of dating, the two called it quits. A source close to Easterling shared with E! News that their relationship was very short-lived, and they most definitely wanted to get people talking.
Addison’s mom was interested in the rapper (there were no questions about that) and loved the attention. That said, they both knew it wouldn’t progress to anything serious.
Then, in November, Yung Gravy opened up about their breakup with Amazon Music. He described their VMA moment as a good, beautiful day.
When the host asked him if he didn’t want to continue the day, he simply responded that Easterling lived in Louisiana. So, it seemed like the long-distance setup didn’t work out for them.
