Though it may sound unusual, Steve-O and his fiance, Lux Wright, claim they will not have kids. The couple added that they want to expand their family, but not with human babies.
Steve-O is an entertainer whose work mainly focuses on stunts performance on the reality TV show Jackass. Lux Wright is a producer and set decorator known for True to the Game (2020) and other works with her fiance, like Steve-O: Gnarly (2020) and No Pain in Vain: The Shocking Life of Steve-O (2020). The producer and Steve-O initially met in 2017 during a photo session, after which she secretly slid to his DMs.

While shooting the Denver, Colorado, portion of his comedy special, Gnarly, Steve-O proposed to Lux Wright. Shortly after, the couple announced their engagement on social media. The proposal is recorded after Gnarly so viewers can relive the memorable moment.
One might think that this newly engaged couple is already planning for a family, wanting five kids and raising them together, but you’re mistaken. The two are not your usual soon-to-be husband and wife, as Steve-O revealed that Lux Wright and he agreed that there would be no babies in their house.
“Neither of us want to have kids,” the Jackass alumni stated in an interview. Steve-O also added that despite not wanting kids, they will still be raising something instead.

Steve-O said they prefer helping animals and are welcome to be parents to those furry friends. He also mentioned how Lux feels fulfilled with helping animals and does not see the need to raise kids.
Though it’s not something you expect to hear from Steve-O’s future wife, the stunt performer supports that decision. He proudly revealed that he got a vasectomy in 2018 and enjoyed doing all that naughty stuff afterward.
It is known that Steve-O had a rough past. After getting out of rehab because of drug addiction, he became vegan and advocated for animal rights. He even dedicates his stunts to raising awareness for animal rights. After a while of promoting the welfare of animals, Steve-O opened his animal sanctuary and helped stray animals find their forever home.

The couple also proved themselves a certified animal lover when Steve-O rescued a dog from Peru while filming abroad. He named the dog Wendy and stated how he felt the connection instantly after first seeing the dog.
Steve-O and Lux Wright’s decision not to have their kid might sound bizarre to others, but they are doing this for a good reason. Through this, Steve-O encourages others to open their hearts and homes to animals and spread awareness about their rights and well-being.
